Ms. Mary Yeo graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand in 1982 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, the High Court of Borneo and the High Court of Malaya in January 1983, April 1984 and May 1984 respectively.
Working Experience
Ms. Mary Yeo commenced her legal practice in Messrs. Lim Kean Siew & Co. in Penang in May 1984 before she joined Messrs. Cheong Wai Meng & Van Buerle in 1989. She was promoted as a partner in 1991, went on to become its Managing Partner before leaving the said firm as a Consultant in February 2018. She is currently a partner of Messrs. S.K.Goh, Chan & Co., Penang. In the course of her practice, Ms. Mary Yeo was primarily involved in Corporate Financing including bridging and trade finance, Sale of Shares matters, General Banking and Islamic Banking documentation, Trust Deeds, Probate and Administration matters, Conveyancing matters and General Agreements.
