He graduated with a B.Sc. in Marketing Management and a Masters in Business Administration from the Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, USA. He has also completed the Executive Programme at the Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in California, USA.

Dato' Dr. Teo Tong Kooi, aged 62, Malaysian, holder as a Doctor of Professional Studies from Gabelli, School of Business, New York Fordham University jointly with National School of Development, Peking University (2019), a Stanford Executive Programme from Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, California, USA (2012), a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, USA (1985) and a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Management from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, USA (1983) .
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of DPS Corporate Advisory Company Limited, Beijing, China and concurrently served as corporate advisor of two public listed companies in Malaysia and board member of a China based Company listed in NASDAQ.
He previously served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bank of America Malaysia, Executive Director (2003-2008) and Executive Director / Vice Chairman (2009) of Tasek Corporation Berhad, Investment Committee Member of Isola Capital Ltd. Hong Kong (Private Equity) and Octville Capital Asia (Hedge Fund), and Committee Member of the Bank Negara Malaysia Debt Restructuring Committee for SMEs 2003/04.
He is an accomplished senior executive with a broad range of industry experience in multinational corporations and conglomerates - 16 years in corporate and commercial banking, 8 years in manufacturing sector and 9 years in property development and real estate investment.
