Datuk Paul Wong is a fellow member of the ACCA since 1994 and his professional background evolve around finance, treasury and corporate work on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring exercise with an international practice. Prior to joining the Singapore listed group, he has held various key financial positions in public companies (both listed and non-listed) on the KL Stock Exchange (now known as Bursa Malaysia) with subsidiaries listed in other commonwealth countries, involved in investment holding, real estate and property development, plantations, hospitality, stock broking, manufacturing and trading.
Datuk Paul Wong was a CEO of a PLC in Singapore, listed on Catalyst SGX-ST, primarily involve in hospitality, leisure and property development. He was instrumental in turning around the group businesses in Australia and Malaysia upon his appointment as CEO.
Datuk Paul Wong sits as a director of several hospitality companies both locally and internationally, in particular a 245 keys Park Hyatt Saigon, in HCM City, Vietnam; 205 keys Crown Plaza Alice Spring Lasseters and 200 keys Holiday Inn, Melbourne, Australia (prior to disposals), 229 keys Mercure KL Glenmarie, Malaysia, to name a few.
