He was formerly the Chairman of Southern Bank Berhad, Killinghall (Malaysia) Bhd and YLI Holdings Berhad, a former Director of Southern Finance Berhad and AM Trustee Berhad. Currently, he is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Titijaya Land
Berhad. He also sits on the Board of several private limited companies.
