Dato' Mohd Naim was the Advisor of the Operations Division of the Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF) until his retirement. He started his career in the Judiciary and Legal Services as Magistrate from 1985 to 1992. He joined EPF in 1992 as a Manager in the Prosecution/Litigation Division and has held several positions, including as Head of the Enforcement Department, the Legal Department and the Contribution Department.
From December 2011 to September 2014, he was seconded to the Companies Commission of Malaysia as Chief Executive Officer and later resumed service with the EPF in October 2014 as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Operations), a position he held until 1 September 2021.
