The coronavirus vaccine attempt is real. Do check on BAT official website below. On April 1, the company announced research on a potential vaccine that can be produced using lab-grown plants closely related to tobacco. British American Tobacco said that its potential vaccine is now being tested on animals through its subsidiary, Kentucky BioProcessing. If clinical trials are approved, the company hopes to produce up to 3 million doses of the vaccine per week beginning in June.
British American Tobacco says elements in the tobacco plant have been used in other vaccine developments, specifically for Ebola. It's an unexpected attempt from a tobacco company.

Supermax always my favourite since the PE is below 20. Now glove sectors are too hot and lot of fresh blood coming in, situation like people are crazy about the toilet paper in HK & Australia. Just some simple thought, all the 3 glove players surge initially, now the 3 players slow down a bit, and Supermax catch up abit and hit the all time high. Anyone know what happen at 4:50pm before market closing today, 9,253,500 lot transacted at 12.44 straight gap down from price 13.02. Volume today almost double from 29/1/20. Any experience traders know this fund buying or selling from fund managers?

Let see how the DPS for Q1 & Q2 of Year2020 go, then you can roughly estimate the future yearly dividend.
Finger cross, 1.18 is the lowest DPS, you still get arund 8% DY at price 14.70.

Totally disagree saying that if PAS in power, avoid alcohol stock. The SOLID and REAL alcohol factories are here in PJ and Shah Alam. They invested the brewery plants not just 1 or 2 years, more than 40 over years. If you buy when confirm PAS not in power, you always buy at highest price. That's the different. I'm once a shareholder for Carlsberg, at current stage i would rather invest in Heim rather that Carlsberg.
