艾力斯（IRIS後，0010後，創業板科技組）董事經理拿督陳斯任在上週一股東大會後，被媒體問及若新晉大股東聯邦土地發展局（FELDA）提出全購，自己會否願意接受時，半開玩笑回答：“若每股出價達2令吉，我會考慮。”
這一開價，會讓人很自然地一笑置之（艾力斯目前股價只有約27仙）；然而，艾力斯畢竟是2006年的風雲炒股，當年身價一度暴漲至1令吉39仙，陳斯任一句話，讓人不禁又再對這隻業績持續改善、且企業活動頻密的科技股感到好奇。
7年後的今天，艾力斯距離2令吉，究竟有多遠？
艾力斯當年被炒作大蛇強拉上1令吉39仙，卻在往後短短1個月半內跌剩20仙，令卻許多投機客損手爛腳；當年大蛇這麼一鬧，讓投資者對艾力斯留下很深的陰影，至今無法消除。
所謂一朝被蛇咬，十年怕井繩，艾力斯自從高點回落後，這些年來股價一直欲振乏力，期間還曾因次貸風暴而跌下7仙低點；此外，艾力斯股價在2003年杪企於30仙以上，這意味，在歷經過往10年的劇烈波動後，艾力斯現有股價，反而不比10年前。
然而，艾力斯營業額卻在過去10年間取得230%成長，淨利取得119%成長，每股盈利雖因股本擴大，卻仍較10年前高出16.52%。
在業績穩健成長之際，艾力斯股價竟輸給10年前的自己，是個值得深思的現象，而這極可能正是7年前炒風所造成的後遺症。
作為科技股，今年喜迎20週年的艾力斯除了核心身份辨認技術業務外，業務近年來亦轉向多元發展，如再生能源發電廠、精明農業村、工業化建築系統（IBS）等，更被市場看好是2014年預算案的主要贏家之一，因政府放眼強化各部門科技運用及推動鄉區發展，艾力斯正是這些工作的強力候選人。
或許正因如此，聯土局才會願意趁該股股價低企於18仙之際，出價28仙向艾力斯認購20%新股權，之後再以26仙收購國民投資機構持有的6%股權，將總持股提昇至26%，大幅超越持股不足10%的陳斯任，崛起成艾力斯最大股東。
股市陰晴難測，誰也無法猜透艾力斯股價未來能否挑戰2令吉天價，唯一能肯定的是，若艾力斯業績按照當前步伐成長下去，股價遲早會反映其內在價值；至於能漲多少，則要看當年炒風的陰影，何時從投資者心中消失了。（星洲日報／投資致富‧投資茶室：李三宇）
