Writers here only seem to be interested in price movement. They see the tree but not the forest. A few trees got burnt down and the reaction is pandemonium. New trees will grow on the burnt site but the forest continues to grow from strenght to strenght.

There is no perfect market because there is not one perfect company. VS current announcement should be view positively in relation to its overall performance. Their pride (& stock price) may have been dented but doing the right thing only carry this message across - that they are on top of the problem.

Finally!! The answer to why it could not break 1.49!! No panic as this is not a loss but a provision for impairment due to prudent management. My 2centsense? With this 'bad' newst out of the way, new 'good' news should be taking VS higher soon.
