But seeing it 5 years back, it has been consistently churning out 5% more or less dividend and almost 200% capital growth. This is a star counter!

Best indicators, i think, are q3 and q4 reports. If both are strong, by all mean the company is still doable.

Regardless, my entry was 90 sen :P But still, expecting decreased, if not outright zero dividend declaration next month :(

If propert line this year contributes more income, year end interim dividend might also hit 6 sen, bringing a yearly total of 12 sen. If price is to hover at 2.0, it would translate to 6% p.a.! Double the FD rate, and this does not include the 1:10 warrant (which might not materialize after failure in o&g venture)!

Last year we were rewarded with a handsome 14 sen dividend, and the price by then oni like 1.3

I started collecting at 0.9 out of good dividend payouts history, strong long-term sustainability and consecutive net cash status, so I didn't consider a bit to sell it, even at 2.13

Selling off after share dividend + TPY throwing + O&G failure, and cautious people are looking for an indicator to come back in (or throw some more), that best indicator is the 2Q14 result, I guess. Depend on the result, the price could have gone north or south.

No Speakup I don't, at first I chose Protasco in the idea for FD kind of investment (steady dividend, steady price, uh, at least when I entered around 2012), so I didn't aim much for capital growth. This is not my "play" stock, is my "EPF" stock.

The price is still above my average so I guess I can still survive, (cough cough, better get some heart attack ubat first...) hahaha~ Then again, lost almost 25% of my "net worth" since dividend execution XD
