why dissapear?

No need to look into other E&P company in SG. Just look back at HIBI when they announce first well no commercial oil detected. The price also jump down. But eventually if there is another opportunity
in other wells, then the price will slowly recover. Of course, HIBI cannot always strike zero in their E&P cause no one will put faith in them. It a high risk high return/ high loss game.
