FOCUS ON THE GAME INSTEAD OF THE SCOREBOARD
WB always said, players must focus on the game (value of the company) and not the scoreboard (share price fluctuation). So, lets focus on the game here:
EKOVEST "considered valuation" since May 3, 2017
1) Duke 1& 2 (60% interest), UOB Kayhian estimates RM3.1b, so 60% is about RM1.8b
2) Construction orderbook to-date (excludes ROL) - RM13b. Estimated profit RM150m to RM200m.
3) EkoCheras Mall (not sure what is the cost of construction).
4) GDV for property, UOB Kayhian estimates about RM7b.
5) Duke 3 a.k.a. SUKE (let us leave this out for the moment).
(UOB in Sep 2016 esitmates (when order book was RM5.4b) the value at RM3.3b or RM1.55 vs Friday's closing of R2.2b or RM1.01

Why I can sleep well with this stock
1. Huge order book of RM 13.2 billion could sustain earning for next 5-6 years.
2. Tolls earning going to be stable and improving.
3. Potential IPO of its highway to unlock values.
4. Price sell down due to IWCITY cases, which give opportunity to enter back low.
5. UOB Research target RM 1.55.

The Board expects the ongoing construction of the DUKE Phase-2, toll revenue and the recognition of unbilled sales from property development activities to contribute to the Group's turnover and profitability in the current financial year. the fella is no longer a substantial shareholder, it is time for this counter to surge to its fair value.
seriously ever when this counter hit rm1.50 1-2 months ago, it has since gotten few more new contracts, 3 if i am not mistaken. having said so, it's value should be at least rm1.60. but no, instead still hovering around rm1.35. i see this as an extremely safe opportunity to keep my money in, and the timing is non other than now, when it is just rebounding from oversold stochastic.

KUALA LUMUR (April 7): Ekovest Bhd through its subsidiary Ekovest Properties Sdn Bhd has purchased two parcels of freehold land from substantial shareholder Lim Seong Hai Holdings Sdn Bhd (LSHHSB) for RM26.77 million.
The first parcel of land measures 2,403 square meters and is located at Lot 256, Seksyen 85, Bandar Kuala Lumpur.
The second parcel of land, measuring 2,290 square meters, is located at Lot 326, Seksyen 85, Mukim Kuala Lumpur, Tempat Setapak, Daerah Kuala Lumpur.
Ekovest Properties said it intends to combine the lands together with its existing land bank to undertake its mixed commercial development project called EkoQuay, which shall commence works in 2018.
The development will be built on a combined 2.75 acres of land, it said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia today.
It said the acquisition is expected to be financed via internally generated funds and borrowings in the proportion of 30% to 70%.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the acquisition is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2017, it said.
Ekovest shares closed down two sen or 1.45% lower at RM1.36, bringing it a market capitalisation of RM2.91 billion.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ekovest Bhd plans to undertake a mixed development project with a gross development cost of RM293.8mil in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, by combining its existing 1.59-acre land bank with adjoining land measuring 1.16 acres.
The construction and property development firm announced to Bursa Malaysia yesterday that its unit Ekovest Properties Sdn Bhd had sealed an agreement to buy the two adjoining parcels of land from Ekovest’s substantial shareholder, Lim Seong Hai Holdings Sdn Bhd (LSHHSB), for RM26.77mil.
The purchase is a related party transaction, as Ekovest managing director Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng is a major shareholder and director of LSHHSB, which in turn owns 9.48% equity interest in Ekovest.
The two parcels of land are situated in Section 85, on the western side of Jalan Pahang, Kuala Lumpur.
Ekovest said the proposed mixed development project, called EkoQuay, consisted of serviced apartments and retail/commercial blocks.
It was previously reported that EkoQuay would be a component of the KL River City project, which also includes EkoGateway, EkoTitiwangsa and EkoRiver.
The company estimated to make a profit of RM103.3mil from the project, which is expected to start next year and be completed within four years.
The development order for the project was approved by Kuala Lumpur City Hall in February 2016. However, it said, an amended development order had been submitted in October with an increased plot ratio and the integration of new land.
Ekovest said the acquisition would be financed via internally generated funds and borrowings in the proportion of 30%:70%.
