EPF purchase of FGV shares in open market:
1) 1.4 Million shares on 16/2/2015;
2) 470 thousand shares on 13/2/2015;
3) 600 thousand shares on 12/2/2015;
4) 740 thousand shares on 11/2/2015;
5) 1.2 Million shares on 30/1/2015;
6) 1 Million shares on 27/1/2015;
7) 2 Million shares on 16/1/2015;
8) 1 Million shares on 15/1/2015;
9) 331 thousand shares on 14/1/2015;
10) 635 thousand shares on 13/1/2015.
The above is just ten examples of purchase made by EPF. At the same time, throughout the same period EPF has also dumped/sold million of FGV shares on the open market.
If EPF has no confidence in FGV shares, EPF must be consistent in selling and/or dumping it. It cannot do both, selling and buying at the same time. It is akin to playing the market. Bursa should take note on this and an inquiry should be made.
I will definitely raise this issue at the next AGM of FGV and if need be, as many people of Malaysia have put money into EPF (monthly contribution from our salary), we have the right to know about the motive of EPF vis-a-vis FGV shareholdings.

be fearful when others are greedy. and be greedy when others are fearful. Hehe.
The way I look at it, this stock has become a casino counter. Price dropping due to EPF dumping. But the moment EPF stop dumping and Tabung Haji start buying, the tide will turn. Or the worst case scenario of it dropping further to RM1.70 net tangible asset price.
Disclosure: I own 2000 shares of FGV at the price of RM2.68.

when will the slide in FGV price stop? Is it still not the bottom yet? I still could not comprehend how EPF dump the shares at current price. Unless EPF got sweet heart deal during IPO which is highly unlikely, then the EPF surely lose so much money dumping shares at half the IPO price. And EPF is rakyat money means rakyat suffer losses

I just bought this stock. Just feel it is a good investment, yearly earning 10% + at this current price level 0.85-0.95.
ckwan: how about lafarge? does it not a competitor for OKA? On barrier of entry, it is not high but I just dont think those construction and property players want to go vertical and be a one stop centre covering the whole material from brick, concrete right up to being developer as well. So I think OKA has long term potential as long as the management is competent and capable

AbRahman i think no need to sack the CEO. By the time of AGM probably in May or June he will be replaced. Ismee is waiting. And Johan ex BIMB is already deputy CEO Tabung Haji waiting to replace Ismee as CEO. Zukri already CEO BIMB replacing Johan. We just wait for confirmation of Ismee as the new CEO.
On the issue of felda settlers. Actually those settlers already paid monthly allowance. No matter what happen to CPO price they will get fixed allowance. And come raya got bonus to boot. So they do not really care about share price. Safe deposit vote bank well taken care of.
I am stupid bcoz I thought I was lucky to buy at RM3.02 the lowest in Oct 2014. Then December came and it crashed to RM2.02. Really crazy. I think with earning below 10 cent, the fair price for FGV is only RM1.50 to RM1.80. Those who bought above RM3, myself included are just plain stupid. Haha.
What I could not understand is how did EPF and Tabung Haji still manage to give 6% dividend. They surely lost money for FGV shares. Tabung Haji also lost money for TH Heavy Oil & Gas, not to mention other oil related stock. Maybe they got IPO price very cheap since they are big institutional players.

I bought this shares at RM3.02 back in Oct 2014. It was the lowest at that time. Then it dropped to RM2.02 in December. Feel like a fool. The most stupid investment ever. I will attend AGM this year and I will grill the chairman. I will make sure that he did not get his RM700 thousand allowance. What an excessive amount given to a non-executive??? I will not be afraid. Lawan Tetap Lawan. Hehe

Why do people like this stock? EPS 2014 is only a meagre 2 cent. Property prospect this year not so good, not to mention GST after effect. Please help explain the attractiveness of this stock

FGV is losing money. So maybe BIMB want to help them by organizing AGM there. Hehe
I think there is no announcement of dividend in 4Q14 report. That is why no resolution in the upcoming AGM. However it is unfair to us as minority investor bcoz we only received 14.7 sen dividend for FY14. Hopefully 1Q15 announcement at the end of May will give dividend
