haha, this early morning, this stock drop heavily. Now it goes up again due to this report regardless the negative news like oil pricing war between US and OPEC. PETRONAS just announce that they may review their plan means they may close the project if the project does not bring any profit due to low oil price or they may request O&G service provider to cut down their price.

Mainly due to the oil price drop and Goldman cut the forecast oil price. If oil price further drop, this stock may drop some more. Next month, OPEC with hold meeting to decide whether a need to reduce the productivity but so far the leader of OPEC like Saudi Arab, they don't willing to cut productivity due to risk of losing market sharing in oil market.

The result show 4th quarter operating profit is 493m but revenue only 417m, can someone explain it? The EPS is 0.28 which is included one-off gain of acquisitions and revaluation gain, the normalised EPS is only 0.13 which PE ratio is 19 (2.48/0.13) which is more higher than the big cap in properties industry (overvalued). The result is poorer than last financial year. The dividend is look good but mainly contributed by one-off gain instead of operating activity profit.

IPO is restricted sale, the IOI Group shareholders bought it at 1.7X per share. I think it still can further drop in the future. OMG

10 cents dividend? TA estimate the normalised EPS is 0.155. I think IOI may not meet this estimated EPS due to poor performance. The dividend payout rate is below 50% (Estimated around 40% or less).
