Invest in SAP is taking of risk with potential high reward of the latest new selected management to be able to bring value to the company and manage the outstanding loan into manageable level except oil price plunge. Overall the loan to cash ratio is improving a lot

I believe they need extra 10% of outstanding share issue of $0.10 value will overcome the working capital needs and hopefully white knight will come into the picture

This report creates a lot of doubt and looked down on the management quality without giving the management opportunities on the double meaning as reported

I believe if we let this kind of negativity mentality reporter to manage this company surely delisted

Posted by Robert Waters > 6 days ago | Report Abuse

This reporter has no answer, only questions. One thing I learnt is that you should write about you know, not speculate on paper what you have no idea about. Obviously reporter has no idea about situation or solution (steps already taken). It would not take long to check revenues, new contracts, disposal of assets, etc. He only read 2 articles of others and copied statement from them.

Indeed..

Likewise the same with the Plantation sector. Currently are helping Bursa Big Time and many reporter/analyst are still "Neutral" on our Blooming Plantations...

Even “Good” is so difficult to say while our beautiful farmers in Nigeria, Ghana, Thailand and Indonesia are giving deserving credits to their beautiful farmers.

You know la, Malaysian always like to sit on the fence and go for the easy way out…”neutral..

Another pertinent question that its minority shareholders have is probably whether Sapura Energy needs another recapitalisation exercise.

For the second financial quarter ended July 31, the company suffered a net loss of RM5.23 million on revenue of RM2.38 billion.

Commenting on its prospects in the earnings results, Sapura Energy says it is currently facing challenges due to lack of access to working capital and bank guarantee facilities, which in turn affected order book replenishment. These constraints have impacted the company’s ability to secure two major contracts worth more than RM4.5 billion. Given this, its top priority is to complete the restructuring scheme to minimise the prolonged impact on the business, it says.

To complicate matters further, the company is currently embroiled in lawsuits and winding-up petitions. Try as it may, there seems to be no end to Sapura Energy’s financial woes.

By the way Mabel. How many counters you own in Bursa? You seem to be everywhere?
My father in law started "investing" in Bursa since the 80s. I know during the 2000s he owned more than 200 counters. I never asked him again but i am pretty sure he has negative returns. Even if he put into FD, the money should have doubled

This counter is lousy, the 10 bil debt is scary, however all should agreed that the coming ex group CEO has done a excellent job to keep the company a float without financial facility

Yes Indeed...

For me Tony Fernandez is still the best!

Capital A is riding RM 1 despite being a PN 17 Company...

2 PN17? means sapeng and capA? Barakah leh?
Anyway, i am happy for you even though i don't know you.
How old are you? Don't spend too much time in i3 or bursa ya since you are investing right?
Over the past year, i have been frequenting MBS instead of Genting or RWS. (30 years addict) I prefer the MBS crowds. It always saddened me to hear how the crowds lost their life savings, many females included. However, what's saddened me more is that they said they won't stop going to casinos.
Sap is my only PN17 counter. Which is within my 10% limit. So, worst case scenario, i will be alright. I bought Sap because without Sap i won't have made it today. Also, i truely believe Sap is a competent company.
Albeit all the negativity, Sap gonna get Lang Lebah which is one of the biggest oil & gas projects in Malaysia together with McDermott. This is not insider news, any decent oil & gas veterans would know. With Lang Lebah, Sap yard gonna be busy at least for the next 5 years.
Sap indeed needs to cross a huge hurdle but i believe they would eventually recover.
BTW, if you hold Dayang, it's not too late to sell even at current price. It's the best managed oil & gas company in Malaysia but profit outlook ain't positive

Past success does not guarantee future results…

Genting and Genting Malaysia have been the darlings of the stock market for the longest time, especially among foreign portfolio managers, as they have always been seen as proxies to the economy.

However, the two stocks will likely be booted out of the FBM KLCI following the index review, to be replaced by Mabel’s Gamuda and 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings.

$YTL (4677.MY)$ Shares Surge Over 7.4% With a Turnover of RM43.71 Million, While $YTLPOWR (6742.MY)$ Shares Surge Over 6.9% With a Turnover of RM51.84 Million

Today both companies managed to pull KLCI out of the woods to breach the psychological 1600 with flying colors..

...and the Plantation Team. Overall, FCPO is still in a bullish trend and will likely continue rising towards the resistance level of 5202, as seen on November 11. Follow the uptrend direction and enter long positions if there is a favorable price action setup on the smaller time frames. Remember, the trend is your friend, so follow it until it bends

completion of selling SapOmv is No longer a request valid for further extension---There must be another

to Bursa for further extension

They need to raised the stock price to meet the PRS requirements, it is obvious that ex CEO is not good on this aspect. And I guess this is the delay of the restructure despite PRS received condition signed from 75% creditor. The trigger point is the new term being accepted by SAP, MRC creditor entitle to enforce take the OMW sales money amount 3 billion 6 months after sales concluded. This is why CRO set the target must complete by mid of the 2025 given that sales of OMV will be complete by Q1 2025 which is not possible to delay further by SAP.

Nikmon

3,027 posts

Posted by Nikmon > 4 days ago | Report Abuse

PRS may need to revised and vote again if the OMV sale amount taken by creditor, this may needs another few years and bursa may delisted them before that. The immediate and sudden clarification shows that the desperation of the PNB on this matter. More drama otw I speculate gov will step in.
