in long run ..few more quarter i think this company will be alive..they are changing thier business plan..so have to patient..

PE at 53..already at a median of Semicon company ...possible will barely move for the next few month..it may get adjusted to 15 cen to balance back PE at 40..

PE at 39 now still very very cheap for a company may worth double the market cap by end of the year.. better come in before too late..

KPMG maybe have offices all over the world. But the PO to KPMG Malaysia. Unless KPMG Malaysia wants to absorb the cost and do it for free. KPMG doesn't want and If Serba decided to pay also, KPMG London/middle east maybe charging an extremely high rate. Similar to my company that I work now (MNC too, in fact, top 5 five in the world) also don't want to hire subsidiary in another country due to high charge, end up using other company also.

So way forward find a cheaper alternative who may have work before with Serba , so no need to tell the whole story again one more round.

most probably nothing serious knowing serba for many many years..potentially only about how they manage the cash flow or auditor cannot get more detail on middle east investment so need 3rd party to verify. PE now getting good at PE 40 due to profit increase...tech stock comes with a premium at PE between 50 to PE 60. Based on this QES will be landing anytime soon at RM 0.85 to RM 0.95.

For serba - business sentiment stuck with OIL segment. So the trending not yet positive fully for oil. Unless serba go and change the listing under TECH. Right now they are listing under the ENERGY sector.

During AWANI interview Karim replied he may not change the listing category as of now. But in the future maybe yes.

it is normal to list a subsidiary or any controlling company via SPAC. Bursa too has SPAC in the past . Many companies in the past raise money via SPAC in bursa e.g HIBISCUS, ECO WORLD (if i not wrong). Even BURSA thinking to bring back SPAC now. Refer to the below link. But SPAC is not that easy as ACE or MAIN MARKET listing. The listing requirement is tougher and stricter money management requirements for the company that raises money via SPAC. TO some extend they may require to return back full raised money via SPAC if they failed to comply with the requirement over the course listed in SPAC.

Definitely, for BUFFET , SPAC is not a consideration because FUND likes BUFFET, EPF or PNB or JP MORGAN they are looking for companies which already classified as INVESTMENT GRADE. Definitely not SPAC listed company including GRAB. To be classified as investment-grade it has to be continuous past 10 years profit, 10 years dividend paying record without failed. Full fill this than classified as INVESTMENT GRADE companies.

So it depends on what u want and what u looking for. GROWING STOCK comes with its own challenges and INVESTMENT GRADE STOCK has its own change challenges. For 20 years I stick with INVESTMENT GRADE stock but last 5 years I change my style to holding more GROWTH STOCK.

For SERBA I think this good move because listing in USA , KARIM reasoning he wanted to penetrate USA market and definitely as growing companies he needs more money to FUND many new businesses especially relate to TECH sector. VERY GOOD MOVE. I'm STAYING ON with SERBA for many years to come.
