MKH is moving to increase its unbilled property sales aggressively. As reported the company has lined up RM1.4 bil sales this year with more than 50% to be launched in 2H. Imagine leverage of > 2 times over revenue .. that will power MKH to move forward.

.. Near term catalysts from the marine, livestock and palm segments are as
follows: i) doubling of prawn harvest in FY15 to 2.2kMt/year, ii) first time
manufacturing of surimi-based products in Surabaya with an estimated

surimi-based product in Malaysia with a capacity of 15kMt/year in
December 2013, iv) expansion in egg production by 45% to 1.8bn eggs/day

DBS values MKH at RM2.5 bil. But now MKH only at RM1.5 bil. Datasonic now at RM2.5 bil. Which one will you invest?

bsngpg .. your calculation should take in the tax element. Also the Q2 forex gain was just to reverse the huge loss in Q1, so cumulatively the impact is not huge. :-)

Look at the cash .. very strong positive operating cashflow.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 23): MKH Bhd shares were among the top gainers on the
stock exchange today on an analyst’s bullish predictions that the company is set to
book impressive second quarter results.
At 11am, MKH shares rose 14 sen to RM3.75 with 385,900 shares done.
AllianceDBS Research has maintained a high conviction Buy rating on the stock and
has raised its target price to RM5.85 from RM4.50.
Analyst Quah He Wei of Alliance DBS said: “MKH is set to book impressive 2QFY14
results, premised on stronger international depository receipts resulting in circa
RM20 million FX gains from US$80 million borrowings for the Indonesian plantation
business, stronger-than-expected CPO prices (+15% y-o-y) fuelled by concerns
adverse weather would drive down fresh fruit bunches (FFB) yields, and progressive
billings of record high unbilled sales of RM602 million.”
“We raise our SOP-derived TP to RM5.85 (ex-bonus issue), after incorporating profit
from unbilled sales and near-term launches, and imputing the latest DBS Vickers
CPO price forecasts. MKH is a rare gem that offers both deep value and strong
earnings growth unrivalled by peers,” said Quah.
Mohammad Ashraf, technical analyst with RHB Research Institute told
theedgemalaysia.com that the stock had consolidated well and there seemed to be
an uptrend.
“The key resistances for the stock are at RM3.80 and RM4. The stock should see
further upside if those resistances are broken,” he said.

Look at TSH Resource's recently announced results .. good feel that MKH will do the same for its plantation.

Planted field now changed hands at 70 to 75k per ha. MKH has got 15.9k ha. Not taken into account the palm oil mill.
Average age of the trees is 5-year .. entering prime category. Plus CPO is trending up.

Point taken. I like the business .. I like the management .. it is forthcoming with many fronts going through capacity expansion, new shrimp farming and synergies from business replication elsewhere. Young investors should pick up some.
