KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 2): Pharmaniaga Bhd, which is set to supply the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine to the government, wants the authorities to look into the move by a growing number of non-healthcare firms to diversify into the Covid-19 vaccine distribution business.

“We want to avoid any confusion. Hence, we hope the government looks into this matter seriously, and we hope the public can get the right information," the group’s managing director Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusop said in response to a question during a virtual media briefing today.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 2): Pharmaniaga Bhd has obtained extra two million Covid-19 vaccine doses from China's Sinovac Life Sciences Co Ltd, on top of the 12 million that it will supply to the government for Malysian citizens.

Its managing director Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope told the media in a virtual briefing that the government had told the pharmaceutical firm to offer the extra two million vaccine doses to economic front liners among the government-linked companies (GLCs), foreign workers and expatriates.

Pharmaniaga get green light from Gov to buy add 2mill sinovac vaccines for foreign workers... hehehe...
