Distillate stockpiles declined by 636 K barrels. Libyan oil production dropped to 123,500 bpd from 1.2m bpd.

As at Oct 1st 2019, based on the last AR, Hibi has no financial stress since it is sitting on a big cash of RM 274 m and debts is NIL. Hibi is on the prowl to look for good buy and acquisitions to further increase its oil producing assets other than the North Sabah and the Anasuria assets.

Volume is very small. Only retailers are throwing. Hibi has moved on from strength to strength. In early 2016 when Brent was only 36, Hibi has recorded profit from the Anasuria output. Now, more wells are producing oil at a rate of approximately 9k bpd with Brent far above 36 pb.

North Sabah oil is of very high grade ie Tapis oil. Usually sell at a high premium. Nowadays, with environmental pressure to keep our air clean, this Tapis oil is very sellable.

CNA news this morning said that Russia support the oil production cut

Hibi is a well known established og company since 2015. It has grown in strength even though Brent was only 32 pb in early 2016. Since then, Hibi has been making profit and their cash position is excellent ie above RM 253 m which can be used for further acquisitions and cheap buy from those oil majors companies that are reviewing their portfolios.

One major issue in US is the oil production in the Permian Basin is slowing down since WTI price is too low and their opex is too high.
