This figure is far below the expectation of 2.49m barrels. Gasoline inventories dropped a lot ie about 2m barrels vs forecasts of a rise of 435 K barrels. Distillate stockpiles declined by 636 K barrels. Libyan oil production dropped to 123,500 bpd from 1.2m bpd.

Brent price is moving up ppginvest simply because the supply chain is being interrupted in Libya, Iraq and Venezuela

As at Oct 1st 2019, based on the last AR, Hibi has no financial stress since it is sitting on a big cash of RM 274 m and debts is NIL. Hibi is on the prowl to look for good buy and acquisitions to further increase its oil producing assets other than the North Sabah and the Anasuria assets.

Volume is very small. Only retailers are throwing. Hibi has moved on from strength to strength. In early 2016 when Brent was only 36, Hibi has recorded profit from the Anasuria output. Now, more wells are producing oil at a rate of approximately 9k bpd with Brent far above 36 pb.

Buy, not sell. Hibi is on the prowl to look for cheap buy of good assets at a discount, just like in August 2015 when Hibi bought Anasuria for RM 199 m.

North Sabah oil is of very high grade ie Tapis oil. Usually sell at a high premium. Nowadays, with environmental pressure to keep our air clean, this Tapis oil is very sellable.

CNA news this morning said that Russia support the oil production cut
