Ben, even if they able to borrow balance of around 110mil shares, based on current sentiment , personally I doubt they will do it, although I really hope they fully utilize up to 4%. Only after that it will be a real battle to tango with shorties.

As I said before now it has reduced to 110mil shares which value at around RM700mil. This is not a big figure for a counter with market cap above 50mil. I always felt that best strategic decision TG made was to declare special bonus instead of SBB based on current sentiment. Support from shareholders who received RM1.3BIL dividend will be able to pacify any attack from RSS, if ever they still have marbles to attack.

Also don't discount the following :-
-Market is still flush with liquidity.
-There are a lot of high net worth investors who will be willing to invest in counter that give >10% dividend yield
-Q2 results (28/2/2021) based on previous trend will be released around 12/3/2021. If TG will to follow ASEAN CG guildeline to pay interim dividend within 30days, next dividend payment (including special) of RM1.8BIL COULD BE PAID BY 12/4/2021.
