Really hope that this happen here where all shorties suffer the same same! How much can shorties made by shorting below RM6?? To make couple of MYR per lot, These shorties, cohort with news portals e.g. Nothing Edge, Diverted focus, etc have bring shame to Malaysia as this is the only industry in Malaysia that we are still the biggest producers, albeit cluster of challenges that the industry is now addressing!!

EPF has gotten back the shares it lend out.
But where these shorties got their shares? Borrowed from somewhere else and returned to EPF?

Or, bought from market? If bought from market (21/1 19mil <out of total volume of 29mil shares transacted> & 22/1 - 36mil (out of 47.7mil shares transacted>)), then it is worrying! Was there such volume on 21st & 22nd? With 55mils shares bought, share price only temporarily up. This will be bad news?

But total net short selling position up to end 27Jan still show 2.92% ( increase from 232.4mil to 239.5mil shares) has been shorted.!!

Mkt_watcher ..... exactly! Sometime entrepreneurs are just too much! It is like ... why should I give, rather than I (major shareholders) will get proportionately.!!

Really disappointing ! U can brag as much as u wan... joined the RM!b PAT club, best ESG rating, best nitrile this & that ..... but basic (pure basic) stuff also cannot handle!!

Even if company has expansion plan, what is so difficult to get facility from banks? With Harta statue, bankers will be begging to give them facility. With such competitive interest rate, it will be a steal!

There are hundred ways of CAPEX & working capital management.
Bank loan interest is super lo now, espy for company like HARTA. Bankers will wait at their doorstep to lend them find with very competitive rate.

No excuse for stinging on minority shareholders's dividend !!

Anyway, it is ok to have differing view.

One of better strategic move by TG is to declare special dividend.

With such handsome dividend, shareholders have enough bullets to fight against evil shorties which tried to drag price to unimaginable level. Effectively, it saves company from the need to do share buy back, which is not the flavor of market currently

For heaven sake, please don't stupefy yourself , gemfinder (or rather stupedfinder)

ChaseBros, ..... I think all investors here are fully aware of ESG rating, IR4.0, succession plan and cluster of good things about Harta that enable a higher PEx being accorded to Harta as compared to other big 4.

But the point here is with superb PAT above RM1bil a quarter and cash in hand above RM2bil, what the heck is the Board thinking? A pitiful 9.65sen dividend is akin treating minority shareholders as pengemis jalanan la!

Of course one can argue than this is interim, but this is Q3 already. Is the Board trying to signal that Q4 profit will plummet? Even if Harta pay additional 10sen, it will only cost extra RM300mil+! Cannot afford ?? Really BS !

Super happy that Harta joined the RM1bil PAT per quarter club.

But perhaps Harta should be more generous on dividend, 9.65sen is really too low.

Don't get me wrong, decent dividend is very crucial in current environment !!

linheng ...To kill the shorties, everyone pro Gloves and contribute to EPF should write as a member to EPF condemning the lending of shares for RSS esp when they hold a significant stake in that counter. As a public mutual fund that is mandatory ( Cover also workers from the Glove Industry ),
they cannot help depress share price ( Affect the worker's benefit in terms of ESOS). I have written a couple of letters to EPF and also Star Biz. Hope you all do the same. You have the right as EPF member to voice your concern. Only EPF is able to lend them the amount of shares required. Seems they have stop shorting TopGlove and Kossan because cannot find lenders.
