So will Aberdeen believe TP given by RHB or Kenanga when they choose CIMB?

Read yesterday Star CIMB is among top 10 holdings(4.7%) of Aberdeen Assets Management(they choose it because "ideally we need to be confident that the company will be profitable for at least 8 to 10 years"). CIMB is held for 8 years(meaning since 2007).

Aberdeen got 483.3 bil pound assets under management as at 30th June 2015 with MC 4.65 bil pound.

We have found 4 eyes looking at a company prevents a single fund manager from falling in love with a stock-Gerald Ambrose(Aberdeen Asset Management MD)

If select counters base on high ROE as a famous i3 forumers suggest only 3 counters has ROE above 100% and BAT is one of them.

zack_liza do you think nobody follow IBs' TP? I mean institutional investors like EPF, Tabung Haji, KWAP, etc. Maybe FF(or someone say sharks) not really follow them.

I am mentioning Kenanga because recent TRT-ERGO sale they are entitled to RM 27 million fee(base on preliminary announcement) yet they seem ungrateful to FGV with their latest TP.

While we shareholders cannot do anything on IBs' TP on FGV we can suggest to FGV management(through IR e-mail) to give less business opportunities to those IBs' judge FGV less favourably.

Anyone hear news Kanger going to release QR next week? Early release meaning good QR?

I think new substantial shareholder buying more than what Leng Xingmin disposed is good news. After all Kanger does not drop after his disposal.

I own BAT because DY above 5% which is higher almost 2% compared to bank FD not other reason like vaping, sharp excise tax increase, etc.

Any news major shareholder British American Tobacco selling? I don't consider EPF, Mitsubishi or Aberdeen as insiders but only like us except have deeper pockets.
