The projects is 100 percent real.Im sure.The number in such a gap because different accounting method being use.If LGE is in SB,I think the gap even larger in number.Let see how the new firm define the numbers.

Now key Question E&Y (not EY mamat store ya) willing to endorse for Serbadk or not. Independent reviewer maybe yes if they have KPMG confirmation. Because end of the day still can put a disclaimer clause that " yes, we relied on information sharing by .......".

KUALA LUMPUR (June 28): Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY) has accepted its appointment as Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd's independent reviewer to assess the veracity and accuracy of the matters highlighted by the oil and gas services provider's former external auditor, KPMG PLT.

Announcing this in a stock exchange filing today, Serba Dinamik said the group has agreed to the requirements sought by EY to ensure that the engagement can be performed in an independent and objective manner for the benefit of all stakeholders.

These include the need for EY to have full and unfettered access to KPMG for information and confirmation for the purpose of analysing the transactions and concerns highlighted, the group said.

No matter which sharks, but the market is green.

The market is like a bell curve. You know what i mean. Those who speak & act knowing the fundamentals is rewarded $$$. Those who speak the loudest (hey this is a democracy, its ok) but not knowing the fundamentals, they will continue to do so & forever be the major part of the bell curve!!

Responding is 1 thing.

Whether its accepted is another thing.

Furthermore KPMG requested a 3rd party auditor to come in and check again. This is so commonly practiced in cases of stalemate.

You know in the end, SD didnt want to do this.

Ok. But from SD statements, they did respond to the findings by KPMG.

The truecaller identification, the mistakes on reading the arabic number address etc.

Did their responds are not taking into consideration by KPMG?
What is KPMG answers on this? And after 2 months just red flagged it?

Stonewalled for months
As an auditor, who do you do to when SD not cooperating.

Either you go SC, Go Internal Audit, Disqualify Audit or Resign.

the only way to solve a dispute with independent external auditor conducting their statutory audit is to work with them to resolve all concern.

not to threaten with lawsuit

Serba did mention that KPMG not responding more than 2 months to resolve the matter.

Now, which one is more gangster?

If the problem is actually on auditor, SC should be more strict toward those auditors too.

As an example to others.

Yeah. It seems like the auditor is safer by stay behind those protections.

After this all auditors can behave like taiko

auditor has expressing their opinion, and they can enjoy law protection over skepticism towards client

and it’s doesn’t mean opinion is always right, it just opinion, not a fact. so that SC need to do further investigation

but most suffered was shareholders, and the company reputations. the company said, the red flags is not appropriate for this issue

& from the issue happened to Serba Dinamik, the possibility of de ja vu like TM will happen is big although the story is different..same sentiment, different story..but still, once dust settled, if they managed to overcome the issue, the price will jump again
