I am wondering just how many of these foreign workers employed by supermax that human rights activist Andy Hall claimed to be subjected to forced labor by the company. If systemic forced labor practices are being placed upon majority of these foreign workers, then i really hv nothing to say here but instead recommend immediate drastic and maximum punishment to be made upon this company. But then if Andy is really fighting for just a few (considered bad apples which are bound to exist), it wud sound rather ridiculous and shud not hv happened in the first place. Is it worth the effort that due to a few complaints from some sour apples caused the company to lose some big contracts n business n eventually this will cause mass retrenchment of the entire workforce thus affecting the country economy. I am sure this is just isolated incidents of some worker dissatisfaction being blown up into big issues. These worker dissatisfaction can happen anywhere in the world.

One good example is euro, a furniture maker, share was pumped from a mere 0.10¢ in early 2020 n to as high as 5rm+ at one point but now trading at less than 0.50¢ today.

Risk of buying a high prices stock is always high. Once it drop it will be like no tomorrow. history had always showed that share price which started from a low base n gone up to sizzling heights will drop back a lot.

The reasons why so many lost their pants is becoz they believed in the TPs of the analysts n IBs who set Supermax at a high TP last year n beginning this year. I tell u this, their advice n analysis are just shit n can't be trusted 100%

All these IBs are just wild guessing n they happened to be lucky n got it right becoz of the stock being manipulated n pushed down.

Why so high TP of 0.65¢ for supermax, it should be 0.10 better la, so no need to change TP so often like what the IBs had been doing for the past one year from 20+ to 12, 8, 6, 5 n now ??. lol!!

Scary, such a stock from 0.28 all the way to 0.085 a drop of more than 200%

Though there may just be just a few among them which indeed have ESG issues, but foreigners are looking at plantation sector as a whole. Overall becoz of this, all the plantation counters are dragged down. But not in overseas where plantation stocks are having a bull run now as u can see.

Nowadays foreign funds are also looking at the background of malaysian companies especially plantation sector before they invest. Too many of our companies have ESG issues.

The reason for share price of plantation counters to be stagnant could be due to ESGi isues which Malaysia has a reputation for. Why is our Malaysian govt not doing anything to address this concern with the foreign countries like US n UK. So far our govt is not doing anything but only know how to collect tax n more tax from the corporate sector. It's high time govt do something about this ESG issues before more companies are affected. The latest one affected is ATA a supplier to the world famous giañt electrical item company DYSON.

@anakularsawa, govt can always use its diplomatic channels to liase with these countries like us n uk to liase with them about esg issues n find a real win win solution instead of continuously banning Malaysian produce

Share price up slow but down so fast to 1.13. It took almost a month to go to 1.21 but in a matter of 1-2 days to drop back to 1.13

So much damage had been done to the businesses of glove n plantation companies because of esg issues, yet govt seemed to be quiet about these.
