Sometimes certain people just pound on any slightly vague statement and spread fears...tax incentives for CSR is not the same as Windfall tax. Is it? Unless the English i learnt years ago were from other planets.

The way I understand it is 'tax incentive' is kind of a discount or offering for something good that you do. So it's certainly not a burden but a benefit to you.

But 'windfall tax' is like an extra surcharge over & above the normal tax that you need to pay, becos you're making fantastic profits. Which is kind of ridiculous logic the way I see it.

Guys should be rewarded for making big profit, not penalised. That's the way I think.

2:13 a.m. Brazil health authority Anvisa says that trials of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and University of Oxford would continue after the death of a volunteer involved in the tests. Earlier, the Federal University of Sao Paulo, which is helping coordinate Phase 3 clinical trials in Brazil, said that the volunteer was Brazilian.

But since there is already one death, personally I think the testing for that one particular vaccine should be halted at least temporarily & reviewed.
