Ken, Something wrong with your numbers. It costs less than US6 million to drill a new land well and very much less to just activate an old one. More likely the old well which may number 30 or more have reached their life span (ie no longer producible). Don't invest in an oil company unless you know to the last detail what they bought into. It could be a pensioner field rather than a productive one!

Management should make clear how many wells are producing out of the 54 well. Surely not 55 bbls per day per well if prorated over total of 3000 barrels per day. More likely only a few wells are fully producing. Touting number of wells is meaningless and can be misleading.
