@Investo, yes I think you are right. When you look at the quality of their comments, some are so childish, they remind you of badly brought up school kids doing bad things on the internet. Just ignore. Hehe
Keep eye on big picture. Market headwinds not over but progress on the delayed PP is good news. @Investo, since you are high in cash and even took profit on Supermax yesterday, you are in a good position to buy more AA for the longer term. Hope for the best and Happy Investing! hehe

Investo, good to take profit. Supermax still ok long term but after recent market weakness, can consider stocks that has fallen a lot too eg DRB? Now maybe also can look at upstream oil stocks. Keep eye on big picture! Hehe

Argue? I wasn't aware we were arguing. From your comments I don't think you are up to the standard to argue on the stock marke with me yet. You were just being annoying by your naïve criticism of big picture and your re-posting of my comments. Doesn't really bother me. Actually you helped to warn readers to be careful on this forum. Hehe

Ignore me? Hehe. He has made it his job to parrot my every comment on big picture. He seemed to have stopped at 35 I think. Maybe he can't count beyond that. hehe

Anyone who wants to ask about latest big picture views can ask Cruger instead, he has been a good boy and has complied all my big picture comments one by one and so he must be an expert by now! Hehe

If you get confused when an old message is deleted as it is reposted, then you can't be very bright. It is also quite empty vessel to keep spamming by complaining about spamming. Hehe

Sigh, if these are really the questions you all still need to ask, it shows you all still got a long way to go to learn about the stock market. No wonder you guys don't understand big picture! To help you guys I better repeat big picture more often tomorrow onwards! hehe

Ask Cruger, he is a big picture expert by now. hehe
2016-11-30 21:20 | Report Abuse
Since you already said big picture all useless, it would be very shameful for you now to ask for the latest big picture view.
Also you should ask your supporter Cruger instead, he has been a good boy and has complied all my big picture comments one by one and so he must be an expert by now! Hehe

So, after one day issue 30 big picture reports, what is the latest big picture driven strategy ? Bullish or bearish

It is shocking that he thought it might appear as other income. And this empty vessel is criticizing big picture? Readers should note that he is a good reflection of the quality of people doing a lot of talking big on this forum. Hehe

If you are tactical, you need to note last week's global sell down in sovereign bonds and weekend important developments in the US presidential election. Big picture suggests ringgit could stay weak for now, negatively impacting short term market sentiment. In the longer term, AA needs progress on its delayed PP and sale of AAC as new catalysts to push AA higher. Hope for the best and Happy Investing

You failed English in primary school. Hehe
2016-11-30 20:33 | Report Abuse
Progress on the delayed PP is clearly positive for AA. That would explain why AA did not fall further today and the last minute jump was not merely window dressing.
2016-11-30 17:06 | Report Abuse
Wah fairly strong rise in TG and Harta, maybe just month end window dressing so don't get too exciting. Hehe

No crystal ball but more like month end window dressing, Lets see tomorrow. Hehe

Ringgit at 4.4655, holding steady. Keep eye on big picture!

Harta and TG up, Kossan recovering. Looks like some interests in gloves today. Supermax under pressure after weak results.
2016-11-30 10:16 | Report Abuse
Not hot on contact lenses business as it has no synergies to existing glove business. Already depressing earnings from start up cost and promotional expenses. No crystal ball but suspect will hear more excuses why it is still not contributing well in future. Hehe

Keep eye on big picture. Ringgit more stable in the last few days but headwinds not over. FF likely to continue to tweak portfolio to reduce EM assets. No crystal ball but big picture analysis continues to suggest some caution is warranted with an asset allocation at about 70%, much less if you are in AA alone. Positive on AA long term, short term can be choppy and risky. No crystal ball but safer to slowly buy only on sharp weakness. As usual, best to do own research and don’t follow anyone’s comments blindly. Hope for the best and Happy Investing! Hehe

Supermax down 2% on opening. Not surprising given weak results. Looks like it may take longer than expected for Supermax to show impressive earnings. @Investo, since you are still making money you may like take profit on half first, depending on how tactical you want to be. As usual, best to do own research and do not follow anyone's calls blindly. Keep eye on big picture! Hehe

Results not so good. On a q-o-q basis, revenue flat while operating profit fell more than 20%. As expected, continued short term headwinds from price competition and cost pressures. Supermax has fallen a lot but needs a longer term view on this stock if you are looking for a re-rating.

People like Icon8888 considers big picture as spam but seem very comfortable with the huge volume of offensive comments by merck, supermx8 and cruger12345.
This shows readers must not blindly believe all the bullish things being spread by the sifus here. They may have their own agenda on this forum. Always best do own research and make up own mind. Hehe

2016-11-29 15:02 | Report Abuse
There is another possibility. Maybe a lot of the good news has already been discounted by current price but big picture suggests a combination of that and weak market. Don't blindly believe all the bullish things you heard by the sifus here, do own research and make up own mind. hehe

ah.......more like 2Q17. Is that soon or not so soon? Really depends on your investment approach, no right or wrong here. In this uncertain markets, it is quite long to me. Hehe

Don't want to be a wet blanket again (Icon8888 will probably call me super bearish or other name calling again) but i wouldn't be so optimistic that Dec5 will change the trend for AA. Big picture suggests there are other very important implications of the sale of AAC other than debt reduction and special div. Also, Dec5 is only names of non-binding bids, actual sales still not so soon. Hehe

Got more and more people like SJSOON, chernhung, takashi86, ETmoney and Investo complain that there are fraudsters, gangs, people trying to influence them and a lot of fighting in this forum. Therefore, innocent readers need to be careful and beware not to get trapped or cheated. These people with bad intentions are likely to keep harassing, often with fake IDs and crude language. Hehe

@icon8888, the message I wrote to Lulu la applies to you as well.
Also, never said holding long term is a bad thing. Just said maybe they should also consider big picture (we are usually not that rude and closed minded) Hehe

Usually I wouldn't make comments on other people's ideas but I though I should return the favour to Icon8888, but I would do it more constructively and politely than he did, Hehe
This method of holding it long term is an old school investment thesis. It probably works better last time but now things may be different. Notice how choppy the markets are now? AA can crash below 1.00 and rebound above 3.00 in a year. You can hurt yourself and missing an golden opportunity to lower your average cost by holding it all the way down and up again.
Often this method to hold and do nothing is for the losers who didn't get to sell before the price fell and so the delude themselves it was best to hold for longer term. Big picture suggests that there are times when an investor, depending on his risk profile, should intervene and manage risk more actively. But big picture is also open minded enough not to say other methods are surely wrong but just to say that big picture might add to the investment decision for open minded investors. Hehe

to make money with Air Asia, you just need to chuck it aside and don't look at it
when I look back, most of the stocks I made money was by this method

@dehouse11, don't worry too much about what big picture really is, takes years to learn. Just see if it helps with investments decisions eg like taking money off the table before US presidential elections, like predicting recent AA results good but not good enough. Many sifus here predicted wrongly recently. If you don't think it is useful, please feel free to ignore like I do so with many of the comments made here anyway. This is a free forum.

Telling experience? More like showing ignorance and lack of an open mind. The track record of big picture can clearly be followed by any reader by checking Investo's comment history. I think she give her price she buys and sell. Everyone entitled to opinion but should at least check out the facts.
