Youghin is a classical example of naysayers who wants to push the price down so that he can buy cheaper. Deep down he is all for IRIS for the long-haul. Or else he won't be here. LOL

Don't sell anything below 60 sen if you are investing for the medium to long-haul unless if you are doing range trading

The rumour is true. IRIS is getting the NiiSE project. Announcement is yet to be made and will be made soon. Stay tuned. Hold on tight to your shares. You will regret much if you sell now or panic sold last week (unless you enter again at cheaper price)

Your share price should be worth more than 60 sen if we price in the job value. Don't sell anything below that price

Plan to drill with the proceed of the producing assets? What do you mean by that? Producing means producing! That by itself is income generating to the company. Planning to drill from income coming from the producing asset is totally different altogether which can be done later on once the company starts to identify potential wells at the concession areas. Hibiscus acquired an unproven reserve or maybe a 3P reserves well. Let me tell you some basic understanding about oil reserves:

Proven reserves are those reserves claimed to have a reasonable certainty (normally at least 90% confidence) of being recoverable under existing economic and political conditions, with existing technology. Industry specialists refer to this as P90 (i.e., having a 90% certainty of being produced). Proven reserves are also known in the industry as 1P. Proven reserves are further subdivided into "proven developed" (PD) and "proven undeveloped" PD reserves are reserves that can be produced with existing wells and perforations, or from additional reservoirs where minimal additional investment (operating expense) is required. PUD reserves require additional capital investment (e.g., drilling new wells) to bring the oil to the surface.

As for SONA's case, they bought a producing well. That's even better than 1P! This is not Hibiscus mind you..

marksmenship, you don't know what you're talking about. Unlike Hibiscus, SONA acquired a producing well! 14,000 barrel of oil per day based on the news. What drilling and korek-korek you're talking about? The exploration and testing stages have already passed. I don't blame you since you're not coming from an o&g background. As for why the share price dropped, it's easy! PROFIT TAKING! Especially those who got in very2 early at 40 sen or so. It exarcebated further due to short term, flipping minded small fishes like investors in because of panic! Getting a QA by itself is already a start. For those who are in this as mid to long term investors, keep your share. You will be handsomely rewarded! If it drops, that's good. Dollar cost it. Flush out all the punters outright so the price will have a breather going forward! Good luck...

Investor888, thheavy is one of the few stocks that I could leave my money and sleep tight at night. You can't go wrong if its fundamental is solid. Ups and downs are normal in the market. There'll always be people who would cash out to realize their profits. Corrections are good to enter again cheaper. Sometimes, punters can be a huge help to push the price even higher. I'm in for the long haul but I'm also range-trading when it crosses its overbought and oversold territories to get a few sen here and there. For good companies like this one, there is no other way to go other than North Pole. I'm only assuming thheavy to secure that Petronas job alone and not the other potential huge projects the Co. is bidding to arrive at my RM1.50/share forecast. Its PE multiples is way below its competitors and is trading at a huge discount. Since the Co. is quite diversified, I'm using sum-of-parts to calculate its intrinsic value. I do hope research houses can start initiating coverage for the Co. soon to conform our TP bro. Coming back to technical analysis, the great technical guru Ed Seykota once said,"Go with the trend. The trend is your friend. Until it bends." Long terms chart looks like it's still our friend bro! :)

What I love about this Co. is that it has zero debt. Not to mention they are vying for several huge projects worth more than RM10b. With her order book size of only RM300m, any done deal of even 1 project may boost its topline that will directly impact its bottomline and hence its stockprice. From my calculation, this Co, is easily worth RM1.50 per share. Only time will tell how fast it can go that level.
