I do agree on the company’s fundamental is pretty darn strong, sipek strong that kind with super stable management and prospect etc.

The hike in price is inevitable in a long run, what I am not comfortable is short burst like this after corporate exercise or land sale etc which leaves open space for either manipulator to goreng or market sentiment gets overboard, then what follows is some sort of draught or correction period, and some ppl like those those smaller investor with weak heart might not take it well and feel trapped( been there previously and done that, hence asking ppl to think properly of their entry and exit point instead of follow blindly)

In my opinion, all those graphs and analyzer and whatever strategy is all used to try to explain market sentiment and not the other way around, market sentiment is collective human emotions, which can be unpredictable even in some sure-fire situation, especially in small cap , low total share company like this it is more apparent, and my view point is almost always correct about this counter, instead of popular opinion of keep shouting UP UP UP, don’t get me mistaken for saying it will go down, all that I mean is watch your entry and exit point if u playing short term profit taking style especially those with less experience, those that are seasoned won’t be swayed easily by market sentiment.

Generally it will go up in due time, keep calm and patience is the key.

May or may not be, now the price is within ideal range, if push to sky high before split, may have its repercussions if the revenue cannot keep up in long run. And my honest opinion is the company seems to be rather stable one, and I kinda doubt they will manipulate price so much, more on being serious to do business properly and let the price flow on its own, the ups and downs is probably due to market manipulator (due to low cap and 1/4 of 280mil share only) than the board members themselves

I’m not worried of daily fluctuation, I’m being neutral about it, I bought enough and I’m sitting on my share and brooding over it lol.
Although my voice maybe unpopular where everyone shouting UP UP UP, while I’m being neutral. I’m rooting for it, just not overly crazy and having unrealistic short period goal

I’m mostly dividend player such as bank/REIT etc, not very often I do profit taking, more stable and less of an emotional roller coaster lol to maintain my sanity.

Well, since after split those manipulator will have harder time to corner the stock, so I guess this few day it will be a roller coaster ride for those playing capital gain.

It depends, but probably they will spread out the sale and other corporate exercise news, so that in long run every few month there is something , to stimulate the stock price, it’s a long battle , since ESOS is 5 years finite period, if u have limited bullet, find a good entry point, otherwise spread out ur bullet.

Meanwhile now it’s opportunity for those day trader and manipulator to pump and dump each day to take profit, so the price will keep fluctuating, be careful of ur entry point and keep level headed, whatever and however high the value the company has, market’s sentiment still precedes over it.

Share split generally will UP the share price as usually its only done when company have utmost confidence in the share value, and smaller investor will also perceive it as “cheaper” altho there is no actual value added. I agree with u on ur points above, just that usually the hike in price during split is more on market sentiment than actual value increase in company’s fundamental.

Price drop following a split is news? It’s not just not generally happen in Malaysia, It’s just RM3 one pack of big nasi lemak , split it into 3 small pack and sell at RM1. But ppl are more inclined to buy 3 smaller pack as it seems to have more perceived value for money. Nothing wrong with this, Infact it’s good, now 3 different ppl can buy the nasi lemak 😬, more demand, then after that can sell RM1.2 the nasi lemak which is good cuz it still feels cheap

Which in this CCB case, the company hold BIG value, and I’m pretty sure the price will UP following split, but as usual after initial hike , it might drop abit back (but never to initial level) after the situation cools down.

ESOS as u say is not more than 10% discount , which is fair, but just like the share split, market might be reading too much into this and have heightened sentiment like it happens to many other counter.

Don’t get me wrong , I’m rooting for CCB as it is excellent counter, I’m just saying to keep calm about it

Well it’s a good news, but as usual please be level-headed about this.

1) there is no definite date for the ESOS/share split , only mentioned probably before end of the year , for all we know both the date might not be of same time, watch out to jump into market when manipulators are trying to take profit with this news and u get stuck, I might be wrong but I don’t think it will happen soon, it might probably happen at maybe September- December that makes more sense

2) share split altho have no actual value, but it does encourage smaller investor to buy and might also encourage the share price go up due to market sentiment, however ESOS quite often (not everytime but often enough) will make the market drop as employee of the company can buy at discounted share price, like what happens to YTL and other stocks previously, it depends on the terms of the ESOS.

3) after share price it might increase the liquidity of the stock, so manipulator might have harder time to control the price, so currently before the split it’s their chance to play with market price, so watch out

So my conclusion is, they announced both share price stimulating(split) and also it’s kryptonite(ESOS) at the same time,
So it’s kinda offset each other? but it depends on the performance next couples of month to see the actual effect, but with better liquidity it should be more stable and harder to manipulate next time. That being said, never underestimate the market, can never 100% predict it, so always 敬畏 market

Well it isn’t very nice to use such harsh words to label them, for some of them, there could be various reason to buy at such price, everyone’s situation is different.

Anyway I will be moving to other counter first, some REIT market looks good especially SG’s

Now both buy and sell queue looks more balanced comparing to yesterday.

Extremely undervalued stock, however it’s quite obvious that some bigger player is manipulating the price last Friday, today not sure will they still be around or not to push and dump more, be mindful before making any buying decision this few days , just my 50 cent 😪

Well it looks like some player is playing push and dump with the price recently, I hope after they push and dump enough, the price will go back low enuf so we can stock up some more, since it’s long way until the usual dividend month

If I remember correctly , I think some banker do hold quite a large portion of their share. Wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to expand it

I wonder will the bankers come in anytime when the price bottoms , then buy , as I know the fund managers they like shares with good dividend, then they can promise their clients certain % of returns on the fund they manage, since this counter will be giving excellent dividend soon.

I hope institutional fund manager don’t come in, or else the price will go up leaving no chance for cheap price. Because we all know how much they love dividend and it seems like big dividend is on the way

There are still payments that is yet to go into account as well, so next quarter should be fantastic as well, since no point keeping so much cash, another big dividend is highly possible year end , as per norm.

Tomorrow/next week price should start going up, unless too much ppl take this chance to dump 🙄 then it might dip again like last land sale.
Anyway I’m for medium-long term for this counter, might not find a good chance to buy in again at my old price , so I’m keeping it for now .

I think so too, just look at yesterday’s closing session bidding, very obvious someone downplaying the market, and IMO recently definitely there is ppl keep buying at underpriced value that is under 3.7, press done and buy.

Nevertheless, I don’t put much hope into chances of any dividend mid year, year end of course yes.
However the bottom price previously is about 3.3-3.35, with new land sale , looking at the trend + amount of buyer and seller everyday,
I believe the new bottom price now is 3.55-3.6, unless if there is another long period of inactivity then maybe 3.45-3.55.

If there is any stimuli then it might wake up and fly, comparatively, if it goes any lower, maybe time to stock up on some.

Base on the track record, I guess it’s safe to assume dividend at first and last quarter of the year, however, due to multiple extraordinary gain since last year, who knows if they will break the norm . Even if they didn’t, with Quarterly report out, we will know balance sheet more clearly which clearly should be good. Hope for surprises 😀

Yea, good dividend track record, housing project coming soon also, if market responded well which many think it will due to its location and its long standing construction quality, even before sales revenue report out the share might respond to it.

Price went down to 3.74 now even with new land sale, my guess is.
Those shareholder with weaker holding power, which bought it at high price previously, sees an “exit” and faster sell off, which caused the sharp dip.
Maybe wait until they finish selling, then someone will absorb those low prices, and then start jack it up again to its appropriate post land sale price which from past sales it’s about +20-50cent from pre-sale price .

Watching afternoon market, it slowed down now, with buyer stronger than seller. Good sign.

Price seems to dropped by some, but holding in range, I think it might trade in 3.75-3.85 for time being in near future. Not sure why is the hike, maybe either there’s big player doing it, or due to confidence in upcoming housing project + Quarterly report.

Yea it might be good if they did the share buy back, larger cake portion for everyone, but I just don’t see the reason why would they do it at this time, especially when the company is in good direction, I mean they can, but they don’t have to, so I doubt it could happen, although I wished it to happen lol.

The majority of the shares are already in the hands of the company and related major parties, leaving not much share in the market, correct me if I’m wrong, but maybe not that wise to reduce general market’s share anymore, they are required to maintain minimum 25% general market share

Sometimes I wonder does some of the small investor know that the land disposal sale announcement dated on 14/5/24 is referring to previous sale and it’s NOT a new sale or not 🤔
And share buy back is a routine done yearly and the company never buy back any share for past many years.

Then maybe some players take this time to push up the price , then dump🤔

Yep, that is why although previously many glove company showing signs of recovery, I’m not going in, especially after the previous balloon pop 😬 although I’m not affected but it looks really miserable. I mainly focus on JB property , utility resolves around renewable energy, and semi con as u suggested

Yea, I missed the top glove boat , saw the recovery of it and it was advised by analysts to buy as well, but I was worried , especially after the bad post covid track record 😮‍💨
Anyway it should recover and remain strong , the physical sales should be good, as those that stock up the gloves before, either depleted their stock or the current stock is expiring.

Yes, definitely good profit from the project, I tink goverment is trying to curb the speculation of price hike around property projects surrounding the MOU with SG, not sure will they be successful or not.

Anyway it’s in the red now, 3.58 and dropping, not all green, the party that did the pushing ran out of strength maybe 😉

I might be very wrong, but my opinion is… maybe correction period is forcefully ended by someone playing the market to dump again, likely the same group of ppl that tries to jack up the price when it’s very low but not very successful at it, as the market is inactive, then waited for this “share buy back” thing and do it again at larger scale.
For seasoned investor they will know this is an annual thing that companies usually do, I checked the track record, past few year no record of buyback.

Since QR is about 1.5 months away, there might be gradual increase in price, but not this much in one go unless it is purposely done, anyway looking at how it is, might be unlikely it will go back to 3.3x , might steadily go down and stabilize at around 3.45-3.55 perhaps? Can only speculate

I do agree with company worth much more than this, but at the same time this hike is not very usual for this counter without stimuli,

The price hike from 3.33 to 3.43 now, logically should have more volume , but the volume is so low. My personal opinion is as we speculate previously, there is someone trying to push up and sell. Let’s see how long this can continue, the volume doenst seems to justify the hike for this particular counter 🤔

I agree with u, but as great as it can be and undervalued, I guess human sentiments and psychology plays a strong role here. The index hit 1600 today with many other good performing active shares,

So ppl might as well opt to go to those shares for quick profit rather than stay here and wait for year end dividend period.
Undeniably good counter but it is also least active and is in sleeping period now.

The person that tries to sell off large amount maybe wants to go other counter as well , can only speculate
