I think tourist are waiting to fly but new cases numbers should drop even more for safety sake. I think its time to get ready to buy and slowly average down if it falls more. Not gonna see prices like this very soon.. but no harm waiting for QR. seeing Armada’s performance without luster in its QR but holding strong is truth that QR don’t really matter much in the new normal. Rather its more important to foresee sustainability and future growth. I would love to see if AA can secure some good loans to remove fears of bankruptcy and pull through the next year

@nuclear_mari true that they might be able to resume flights, but, consider this,
1) other countries closing borders, so fly where? This is under control in malaysia but elsewhere how? Has Covid-19 really become under control?
2) AA hedged their oil, but now prices have dropped so low that it would hv been cheaper not to hedge. So the advantage of running the airline at a cheaper cost has been reduced. (Unless a deal can be made. )
3) when will this all recover and company start making profit again? Even TF begging to just take the credit points to keep whatever cash available
4) we might be thinking ohhh plane grounded, so no cost there, what about paying for staff (even with paycuts) its still expense, followed by parking and maintenance for planes, etc.

Hence consider before investing especially in Oil and Airline companies at the moment.

Im just talking on buy vs sell volume. Never say anything that AA wont perform. Or even if it will drop.

Many selling because investors still dont have enough confidence in AA. Rather do day trade, rake in day’s profit and come in for battle another day rather than put in and cannot sleep at night. ;)

The truth is, the up is just because of what Trump said that maybe just MAYBE there will be a solution to the Russia Arab “oil output war”. Just words from Trump on a maybe can boost prices. But just imagine this, countries are still fighting Covid-19, countries are on a halt in processing and other economic growth. So where will all this Crude oil go? Are truly oil prospects getting better? US itself is struggling to recover. Hope all goes well.
