And it's really good that the US-led 'West' has concluded that nuke arms control deal with Iran, I reckon ... Becos it dilutes the influence of the Saudis in the Gulf region ... They hv become too arrogant & big headed for everybody else's good, I think ...

And the end consumer does not gain that much benefit from low crude oil price, anyway ... Becos they are NOT buying crude oil, but rather, final oil or chemical/petrochemical products, like petrol, lubricants, industrial chemicals, cosmetics & toiletries etc., whose prices do NOT move in direct proportion with the price of crude oil ... Only COUNTRIES & huge MNCs are buying crude oil ...

It's not like when crude price drops by 50%, the petrol price also drops by 50% ... Becos, besides da cost of raw material (i.e. crude oil), the total production cost of petrol also includes the cost of labour, energy, technology, plant, equipment etc.

And where a country's economy recedes badly or even collapses due to low crude oil price, e.g. a relatively high cost oil producer like Venezuela or Libya, it is the end consumer that eventually ends up suffering the pain more in the end ...

What them bighead Saudi dikkheads are doing - in over-producing crude oil then selling at ridiculously low prices - are effectively a form of trade monopoly ... Becos they are in a way cornering da buying market for only themselves, while driving other competitors out of business & 'killing' them slowly ...

I reckon this kind of thing runs completely against da principles of free & fair trade as espoused by WTO ... Someone should actually consider bringing Saudi/OPEC to WTO for unfair & monopolistic trade practices ... The cake is really big enough for everybody, as it has always been all this while, as far as the oil industry is concerned, but the Saudis want it all for only themselves, basically, without much thought or concern for the plight of others ...

With reference to da comments by Mr. Spanish, if one is reasonably sure that oil won't recover for da next two years, then you could spend dat time rebuilding up your cash reserves, in a sector that is relatively unaffected by low oil prices ... Then come back into Sumatec with a bigger capital outlay next time, and buying back into Sumatec at same present low price or even lower, just before that oil recovery ...

But margin money from investment bank, or even any bank, is not adviseable, becos you are then just setting yourself up for forced selling at loss everytime the total value of your investment dips below a certain level, becos of falling stock price. Which is something that could happen often.

I borrowed 150k from MBSB in 2013, to top up my then available capital up to 200k, so what ... I'm paying the monthly loan instalments every month from my full-time job's gaji ... But the stock investment component is my own private business which I manage properly to generate extra income ... And my initial 200k investment in Sumatec WB became 565k within 10 months, in mid-August 2014 ... What is so bad about that? ...

Okay la, Afata, since I also know you long time from Sumatec WB ... Now I gv ya some free advice & experience sharing ...

I oredy made gains equivalent to over 32% of my expected annual full-time job's gaji for 2015, just from playing Nova in April & May, that time Nova doing around 19 - 23 ...

But now chedet sudah bikin kaciau sikit over 1mdb issue, he has caused market to crash ... So, no investment income yet for me for June & July ...

But for you, now you hv the fantastic opportunity of getting Nova at special offer fire-sale price, whereas I'm already tied up at a somewhat higher pre-1mdb-controversy price ... Although I remain confident of making some decent gains later ... I just hv to wait a bit longer now ...
