Aiyoooooooooooooo...................Not sure why people never get their facts correctly...follow the history of Hibiscus.

This was the earlier CPRS and this was to be used in the event the funds was needed to be raised if they win the NEWFIELD bid. Hibiscus lost this bid to Sapura....it was all over the papers....so no need for any fund raising....the bid was in the tune of 1 billion (if I am not mistaken).

Only now BNM given their approval......... as they take time to give their approval...this is Bank Negara Malaysia)

If you read the last paragraph of the same announcement you will see that Hibiscus is not proceeding with this fund raising ,i.e. " For the avoidance of doubt, Hibiscus Petroleum has yet to enter into any CRPS-2013 subscription agreement."...........

There is no moratorium to any holders.................I don't know where anyone get ideas of any shareholders with moratorium or restrictions. CPRS or other major shareholders can sell anytime. Only Hibiscus Management has restrictions on the Warrant B shares.

The initial investors are still there, like me. I can sell my shares anytime. So can my friends who also invested same time. We trust the management team and we will let them do their job.

Hmm ....2nd well discussion again. Investment cost to hibiscus. Upside find oil and produce. Wow!! RM5 or higher? Downside? RM15 or RM20 million as Weill 1 was RM13.4 million. How does that translate to losses per share or write off in worst case scenario?

Good news - Technology already proven. They found oil. Hope they have refined data from Well 1 and calibrated the lesson learned to ensure this time oil found and can be produce in next drill. Investors have patience as this is all about trusting the management team to perform. And this management team are an experience oil and gas team. They have drilled well 1.

Next year is drilling year!!!!!. 4 more days... Exciting year...many opportunities to discover and produce oil. Norway is calling. Australia will be producing oil and oil will be flowing. So, why compare with other counters? I don't understand? Please do serious homework as lots activities in the pipeline.

Its it very simple.

1. When you see all CRPS bought above RM1.65 and larger block at RM1.80 (100 million), exercise price of warrant is 0.50 cents. any price of warrant below Rm1.30 is cheap for investor

2. Look at volume of mother. Traded 10% of total shares. Yesterday was force selling day. Who bought? You? Speculator? No way? Who is buying now? Any why mother share is very tightly controlled? Because the genuine investors are not selling.........

3. Warrant has conversion price of 50 cents. So those have money can buy and convert and sell. Or those already bought mother at higher price and buy warrant now and pay the 50 cents and average down their investment in total. From an investment point of view, I would do this, buy warrant at this price, pay the 50 cent. my cost will be RM1.15 +RM0.5 = RM1.65 and original cost of RM1.8 so I already average my original investment by picking from the open market, within having to make any further announcements.

When you buy warrants you don't have to make any announcements no matter how many you buy.

Announcement out today on maximum possible cost of Well No 1:

"Masirah Oil Limited (“Masirah”), the entity which holds rights to the Block 50 concession, is held by Lime Petroleum Plc (“Lime”) (64%) and Petroci Holding (36%). Hibiscus holds 35% in Lime. Hibiscus accounts for its 35% interest in Lime as Investment in Joint Venture in its consolidated Statement of Financial Position and recognises its share of Lime’s profit or loss in its consolidated Income Statement.


The total estimated costs incurred by Masirah for the MNN #1 well recently drilled is approximately USD18.3 million (RM60 million). Hibiscus and Lime have both adopted the full cost method of accounting wherein oil and gas expenditure incurred is accumulated in respect of each identifiable area of interest and capitalized (and not expensed) to the extent certain conditions are satisfied 1.0"

Meaning - Maximum exporsure for Hibiscus is 0.64*0.35*60 = RM13.44 million.....devide this with 500 million shares.............works out to be 2.6 cents in cost.. But look at the knee-jerk reaction of people who don't know..........

Also the well is not abandoned yet as they are still evaluating the data and logs received from the drill site,...see abstract of same announcement...as they did find oil so further study of logs is oingoing..

"Lime would be capitalizing the costs of the MNN #1 well and would not be writing off the cost to its Income Statement at this stage. Until and unless the area is abandoned (and as there are no plans to abandon the area currently), there is no requirement for costs to be written off. In this event, Hibiscus would not be recognizing its share of the cost of the MNN #1 well in its Income Statement at this time.


Anyway - long term investors - good to stay sideline...........let the storm past...calm waters and sunshine will come soon shine again.

And the truth will prevail. Once again. Technology works. Sooner or later, OIL WILL BE FOUND AND PRODUCED. This counter will no longer be at this current price. NONE of the large shareholders paniced and sold today. Look at the volume off the mother share (10 million traded out of 500 million..........). They are here for long term. Most of the CRPS were pick-up at RM1.80. Possibly they are now nibbling and buying happily at cheap sale prices today and
possible tomorrow.

It will stabilize soon. Drilling is going to continue. Failure is part of learning process.....at least good to know Technology works. Once again, true investors will be rewarded.
