1st well taking longer than expected. Come to think of it, I would do the same, as I would be very prudent and careful and would want to be very sure when I deliver. So the longer it takes, the better it is. Logically, if the well is dry, the rig would have demob and moved to the next location.

From my knowledge in this industry and the pattern shown during drilling with the rig in ready stack for this long, they definitely found oil. It is matter of how much, whether oil is economical to produce etc. If the well was dry, the rig would have moved from this location LONGGGGGG time ago.

So goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood news, the technology works. Next drill will definitely be exciting since they already proven once.

Why you think Norway willing to give a little known Malaysian small timer company concessions to explore and drill in the most challenging environment? 4. - Aussie land - safe bet - anything possible

Summary - this few week very good show going on here. Drank so much coffee alredi. Think we will see results of OMAN before Christmas for sure. I believe in Hibiscus simply because of its very strong and fundamental Management team. After all, what is a company WITHOUT its people running it.

Layman term ah - ready stack means it is ready anytime for drilling and is used when during drilling it stopped for maintenance of checking or when results is being determined lah. So drill rig is still at site, either got maintenance issue, go operational issue, or they waiting for result of 1st drill....this is from limited small timer kucing kurap tak tau invest kena kutuk 30 years oil and gas experience lor...

1. Drilling is not completed - Rig is still in Oman and has not left the place
2. No announcement yet - means 1st drill also not completed
3. 2nd drill not started.

That should explain why price is holding.

Don't know where information is flowing that drill result is out already. Common sense will tell you that is result is out, there will be a HUGH Impact on the price, either way. I am positive as they have 2 wells to drill. As far as I am concern, NONS of the wells have been completed as no announcement yet. This is HIBISCUS, they are very prudent and prompt with their announcement as they are run by proffesional team!
