What is the share price after 1.12 ? 1.16 ? And then 1.??.

currently tekseng is doing bullish penant flag pattern, if tekseng can break the pattern above 0.935/0.940 then it will find 1.01 first after then 1.12 and 1.160/1.165. Currently there are two flag pattern on chart.

I think 27th August AGM media briefing contents will provide guidance and substance to TS price upwards momentum. I hope the Directors don't fail us.

In trading stocks you are trading with your life savings or hard earned money. Don't let your pride of admitting you made a wrongly timed investment stop you from moving to a better counter. Your loss may be your own doing if pride is not set aside.

Notion is already ex- Bonus unlike ESCERAM who is cum Bonus and warrants. I am not saying ESCERAM is a good counter but I am explaining why it bounced back after its li lacklustre results

@SwingTrading appreciate your technical analysis expertise. Is Tekseng a worthwhile counter to invest for short term play ( 2 to 3 months) and your opinion on TP if QR3 is around 3 sen. Thanks for your feedback and time.

I lost money BIG TIME in Notion in 2011. Went in at ard 0.8 when the same Boss I think called Chua running Notion talked about big prospects in HDD, LED etc. The quarterly profit was just ok so so but I was suckered to believe it can go up to rm1.2. When the next 2 Quarterly Results came out all losses. My shares sunk into 0.50 and only cut loss below 0.40 because of my Big Pride. Lost around 40K and stop playing the market for 5 years.

When I re-enter Bursa investment again, Never touch this stock again. This time after Notion announced PPE venture in Mid 2020 I saw repeat of 2011 and AVOIDED IT like Covid-19. Luckily I was steadfast even though it LIMIT UP 2 or 3 Times. 10 years later more wiser investor.

Moral of story ...major shareholders of Notion NOT Focused and poor business execution.

Notion VTEC just released QR3 results. Huge loss. Tek Seng is profitable but alas we are still priced lower than Notion. Sometimes things in life is so unfair.

Roadblocks at all prices upwards. Worse than Saturday night after 12pm at Desa Sri Hartamas.

@babi shark Looks like the TP of 2.00 at end of August is not happening...

I think today will be good time to pick up stock as the roadblocks are sign of accumulation by insiders. CANNOT PLAY CONTRA as NO GUARANTEE of upside on quick play.

Low volume may mean they are flushing out weak contra players. It may persist for a day or two .

@tonypang01 Forecast given by a friend who's a market analyst. Believe he derived the EPS from increase capacity from gradual Capex plus better sales mix margin. Again forecast as anything concrete is considered inside trade information.

There's an interesting article in The Edge Weekly on Capital Markets section Pg 31 to 35. It list the Winners and Wannabes from the Covid-19 play. TS is mentioned there. You can assess that TS is a good example of a PPE play stock but a REAL laggard among the overpriced PPE counters.

My sincere views on TS and why it should be priced above RM2.00 is as follows:-

1. Improving QRs for 2 quarters and should see further improvements in QR3 and QR4
2. QR2 EPS 1.82. Annualised EPS 7.2. PE 20X 1.44
3. Forecast QR3 EPS 3.00 Annualised EPS 12.00 PE 20X 2.40
4. Forecast F/Y 2020 EPS (3.2+3.0+4.0) 10.2 . Dividend payout 30% ; 3.00 sen. If 40% . Payout 4.00 sen
5. Nett cash position @ 30/6/2020; RM37 million
6. Retained profit sufficient for capitalization by way of bonus issue of 2 for 3 .
7. Export market is still a big possibility.

Please don't flame me for my optimism.

@Babi shark, this month left 6 working days. If wana touch RM2. It need atleast 3 days limit up. Or 5 days up almost 20 percent Hahahaha, anyway, I sincerely hope what u said is true.

Will limit up in near future once all the weak speculators are out of this counter. Today's volume was pretty impressive at 630,000 lots done. Steady all the way!

Now that TekSeng has reverted to a penny stock after 5 days of price drop, it's the right timing to accumulate the stock in anticipation of an improved Q3 financial results. With rm51 million funds available and market knowledge of the PPE market in Malaysia and increasing the business in US and Europe plus economy of scale with increased production capacity, TS is a good bet to see a re-rating by both analysts and serious investors.

I see no announcement of the major shareholders selling their shares during the previous run up to rm1.44 thus the shareholders knows the potential price upside all the way to CNY 2021.

Let's hope this is the start of a good run for TS.

Ever since the rubbish companies like UPA, Titijaya, GOCEaN,Komark ,Notion plus others coy which I lost track of, jumped into the face mask bandwagon, the whole face mask counters big price drop. Even TS which had a relative good QR is badly bashed. I hope the SC and Bursa comes hard on these idiots if they make irresponsible announcement to goreng their shares.

As for TS, I think it will gradually climb back to above RM1.20 in short term as we approach end of August. The 3 QR should see an EPS of probably 2.5 - 3.5 sen as it gradually increase the production capacity for PPE. My gut feelings. Dont flame me ok.

@tonypang01 I don't think it's a matter of competing against China in terms of cost as we know China is all about lowest cost albeit a question on quality and health safety compliance. What I gather from the current trend of public listed companies going into PPE and medical healthcare wear is at what stage of business are they at? Demand for local face mask is always there as consumers becomes more discerning about quality and safety on what they are wearing.
In the case of TS is that it started the foray ahead of a lot of listed companies and it has the lead in terms of business link-up with local face mask manufacturers. That is a business fact and not half cooked intention into venturing into PPE and Face mask business

My close friend works for UPA. No worries he says as UPA non-woven material capacity is still small time as they only started this venture in April 2020. In fact my friend himself bought a lot of TS shares from his FD savings uplift as his boss told him face mask usage will persist till 2021 end at least.

The trick is to announce an improvement in QR from previous QR, start the increase in price gradually and don't limit up as this will alert Bursa to put a restraining order on your uptrend. Careplus and Supermax managed to manoeuvre their price uptrend professionally. Let's hope Tekseng's Directors are seasoned players. So far the Loh family hasn't disposed of any stocks. So the game continues. Tekseng has a war chest of rm51 million. Money can make profits for next 2 QR improve tremendously.

Opportunity beckons for dollar stocks like Tekseng since Notion, HLT and EsCeram got their price limit locked for 2 trading days for aggressive price movements. Tekseng slow but steady!

I will try to pick up more Tekseng below 1.20. I sense it will gradually hot 2.50 as the face mask play gathers more momentum. It is still a laggard in the health care segment with a Big war chest.

My feeling is that Tek Seng should be priced at rm2.50 at least. Face mask is gonna be an essential item at keat for the next 1 year. Tek Seng need to rev up production capacity and also look at export to US and Australia for a start. Don't let the Rm51 million sit idle. Be more aggressive in marketing and expansion.

Tek Seng ought to be priced at least Rm1.4 based on PE 20X on annualised EPS of ard Rm0.07 conservatively. With rm51 million it can ser up more capacity easily. Real laggard. Directors just got to be more aggressive

Directors must constantly keep the company progress in the know. No point keeping to releasing just QR results every 3 months. Strike while demand for face mas is there.

Hope the Directors come up with some announcement soon on the status of the capacity upgrade for the face mask materials. Also on any export plan Notion just made an announcement last Friday on application for license in US and share price shot up.

Today is buying opportunity. Is there anything adverse in the results. No! The expectation of higher EPS and dividend is just a fickle wish. Buy when the weak holders are selling.

Common investment sense will prevail? Dont look too much into revenue reduce. 2nd Qtr 2020 was the MCO period and most business activities stifled. I am sure 90% of listed companies will report drop in revenue and profits. Lots more will report losses. Come 1st August face mask becomes mandatory in public places. Tek Seng management knows how to take advantage of the situation and push the shares price up. The Loh family holds more than 42% shares. Who doesn't want to be a billionaire.

Just sold all my HLT and Poh Kong shares to concentrate on Tek Seng. Bought lots of Tek Seng avg 0.86. More upside coming

I think the Directors are setting aside rm20 million to increase the manufacturing capacity for PPE this qtr. Hence no dividend payment proposed.

It should be higher than rm1.50. Company profitable with rm51 million in FD. Face mask is more in use than surgical glove.
