The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on April 24 that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, in an interview with the newspaper, said the government could not rule out bankruptcy for the airline. However, a government spokesperson yesterday clarified that the prime minister did not mention bankruptcy specifically.
Instead, Najib’s response to the WSJ question on the possibility of MAS declaring bankruptcy was:
“Well, different modalities have been sug-gested. But we have to look at it from all angles, bearing in mind that MAS is a governmentlinked company. It’s not a private company so there are certain repercussions in what you want to do in terms of how it is being received by the employees and the general public.”

The panic selling yesterday could be over doing, hopefully there will be a reasonable technical re-bounce today :)

Since MB IB dare to say MAS is now "we think the stock has reached the bottom.", so, for once just to show a support of our national airline, buy the amount you possibly can afford (based on how trust you are on MB IB)and treat that as a venture, as the saying goes "no venture no gain"
