My point of view. AAX no longer trigger PN17. They have under went debt restructuring and capital reduction since triggering PN17. That is the RP. The business is profitable and NTA is positive. So what RP is needed? QR is QR. RP is RP. But a good QR will strengthen the NTA. And bad QR will send NTA back to negative. Negative NTA will need RP. Can't see the relationship?

I'm not SC. I don't know what is the criteria for them to lift PN17. Could there be a possibility of SC rejecting the application? Yes, but they have to provide valid reason.

Please explain to all of us the below announcement. My English no good. I'm not sure what agenda is there. To me, RP is already done. AAX no longer trigger . While a loss (which airlines is making losses now) to send the shares plunging and PN17 in risk. That simple.

And now they only focus on more profitable routes, with lower leasing rate and higher ticket price. What more, people no longer interested to fly short. People want to travel far. Even if market slow down, people will still travel. And they will choose the cheaper airlines. Last QR 70sen EPs clearly shows how profitable is the business now. And this coming QR, supposed to be their slowest QR, is surging too. It might be more than the 70 Sen eps achieved by last QR. It might and it might not be though. The only thing that would cause the share price collapsed is the QR result. PN17 is totally out of question..unless the next QR they reported loss. And NTA back to negative. But which airlines is making losses now? So the odds is almost zero. Again, no high financing interest to pay would be the key to a profitable biz.

Either both AAX and Cap A exit PN 17 together or die together. No such thing as one to exit PN 17 while the other remains in PN17. Though there are separate entities, they are associated to each other like brother and sister. do or die together , no choice for both shareholders.

Just to add to KingKKK. AAX being the low cost airlines, able to sell higher price tickets at cureent, even if market slow down, ppl will still travel, they would choose the cheaper airlines like AAX. American airlines and those mid range airlines will likely to suffer because their cost of running the companies are on the rise too. AAX got no such issue.

@pang72. Not going to put a target price. Even if it hit rm3.50. that would have work out to be only 35 Sen before the share consolidation.. I have said, no airlines in better place than AAX now with almost zero gearing, meaning no need worried about interest needed to pay, more profits. Momentum will continue to build ahead of next mth QR.

But the downside would be capital A restructuring. That would likely to hold AAX from going any further.

My last post as I just seen too many BS in this forum. Shall wait n see how AAX perform.

Please note that AAX at the moment is almost zero gearing. The NTA is positive. And they likely need just 1 more QR to get their NTA up to 80sen. Their RP is virtually done and dusted. So why would they want to delay getting out of PN17? They are a separate entity than capital A. Different management. Bursa likely would reject 3rd extension request too. AAX is probably the only airline with almost zero gearing. D day on 28th July. That would really determine the share direction.
