未来该公司将面对一些挑战以及必须处理以下事项：

a）长期的美元兑令吉增值将打击公司的资产负债表，因为大约79%的127亿令吉借贷是以美元计价。亚航必须解决这一冲击和其高借贷。此外，旅客的票费收入是以当地货币交易，并不匹配。

b）对于印尼亚航和菲律宾亚航借贷大约9亿令吉，考虑到在菲律宾和印尼业务皆处于艰难的营运环境，以6%利息计算，这些联营公司是否可以应付这些债务将引起疑问。

c）亚航新设立在泰国和印度的营运，挑战也在加剧。公司暴露在过于依赖其联营公司收入的风险，这将引起关注，其联营公司的表现恶化，以及或不能对集团履行其义务。
