大馬華人旅遊業公會署理會長田全周認為，政府開始探討取消中國遊客來馬簽證，並把試驗期設為1年一事，對本地旅遊業者無疑是好消息，否則業者生意慘淡，只能“曬太陽”。

　田全周坦言，當大馬鄰國如泰國、印尼都已為中國遊客提供免簽證優惠，我國卻遲遲未落實，導致生意難做，讓許多旅遊業者直呼累了！

　“非但要盡快，政府是應立刻落實中國遊客免簽證措施，否則我們就跟不上腳步了，自從MH370客機空難爆發以來，本地旅遊業深受打擊是眾所周知的事，再不落實免簽證（吸引中國遊客），業者都累了，旅遊車只能曬太陽。”

刺激遊客回流

　他今日接受《中國報》詢問時坦言，大馬接連2起空難事故，造成許多生意慘淡，其中酒店、土產店和餐館等影響頗大，他因此認為政府應馬上落實免簽證措施，刺激中國遊客回流。

　針對報導指內政部以中國人多是來馬賣淫為由，拒絕批准免簽證，田全周則驚訝此說，認為政府把中國遊客歸咎于賣淫活動，是不公平的。

　他說，中國目前已發展成強國，不能以上述論述以偏概全；政府應即刻為該國提供免簽證。
