凱投宏觀經濟學家傑索普在報告中指出，全球股市近期跌跌不休主要受4大因素影響。


1.歐洲特別是德國經濟顯露疲態。這是全球股市慘跌的主因。德國近期公佈的經濟數據令人失望，8月出口和工業生產接連重跌。德國第二季國內生產總值（GDP）季減0.2%，第3季陷入衰退風險大增。歐元區整體第二季經濟則呈現零成長。

傑索普指出，未來幾個月歐洲的救市政策不外乎是歐洲中行（ECB）採行額外寬鬆政策，和歐元進一步走貶。

2.油價重挫。紐約原油自今年中的高點崩跌近20%，降至每桶81.84美元左右。傑索普指出，油價大跌係過度反應全球經濟走疲，引發油價下挫的原因包括中國和歐洲需求減弱、供給增加、美元走強，和些許恐慌性賣壓。

但傑索普亦指出，較低的能源價格可望刺激全球經濟成長，今年底前油價將回升至每桶93美元。

3.金屬價格疲弱。主要新興市場國家成長減速造成工業金屬價格下挫。傑索普表示，利空消息已讓商品特別是金屬價格做出反應，雖然中國第3季經濟可能無法保7，但還算是穩健的成長速度。

4.地緣政治風險，包括伊波拉病毒肆虐。傑索普指出，“市場對於地緣政治風險過度擔憂，歐洲還是造成全球紛擾的主要原因，例如疑歐派英國獨立黨崛起，和英國就歐盟會員資格進行公投等。”
