Based on FTSE Russell’s rules,
a) a stock would be added as a component of the KLCI if its market capitalization rises to 25th place or above, while one will be removed from the index if it falls to 36th position and below.
b) to be included, a stock must has turn-over at least 0.05 per cent of its free-floating shares in issue, using its median daily trading volume per month for at least 10 of the 12 months prior to the semi-annual review.

So it is not necessary that GenM will be booted out from KLCI when its market cap is lower than Kossan & QL. From my observation, Supermax (position at 22) may join FBM KLCI, while KLCC Property (position at 33) will likely to be dropped.
