@investortrader88. Yes, I agreed, local mutual fund & the local insurance company might be the buyers. They always accumulate blue chip by dollar averaging strategy. Last Thursday & last Friday seen some large 5.60 sell volume disappeared in minutes. At present price, the sellers are actually selling with huge loss.

There are some local funds (M'sia largest mutual fund & insurance companies operated in M'sia) appeared in top 30 list. They might be the ones that understand Genting operation well. Once they start buy back or buy more, the price will start moving upwards.
Anyhow, present low price did offer an opportunity for retailers to buy & own Genting shares.....and everyone wants to catch the timing of the rock bottom price.

Gen has some valuable assets that others don't have.
Japan is a country surrounding by sea & most of the bidding city (Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagasaki) itself is a seaport. Our Gen has Asian largest fleet of cruise ship (Dream Cruise, Star Cruise etc) carrying newfound wealth Chinese.
If Gen incorporate IR with luxury cruise (plus S'pore model)……then every bidding city will likely to choose Gen as its partner.
