Looking at the way things are going there is more tendency for Genting price to drop further than to go up. based on the current economic direction, and how genting recently pumped more money into empire etc... i would say best to side line and hope for the price to drop below 3RM... then perhaps that is a good time to start to collect a bit and if it drops to 2.50... even better buy more. its not impossible for genting to collapse but it will need to be a extremely prolonged recovery of the tourism industry. a little hard to say at this point in time, may be end 2021... so the share price has more tendency to head south than north at this point in time.

if US up tonight, chances are it will be another green day tomorrow.

The moratorium better continue... npl will rise if they don’t.. then their losses even greater.. where as with the moratorium they still accrue interest.. give breathing space to the economy to recover. Only thing for banks is capital is tied up
And liquidity comes into question but they are well capitalized they will be ok. Dividend payment or not will depend on free cash flow.

I guess the question is also will more cuts come after July? Chances are yes.. so means we can probably anticipate more price drops...

Let's hope that the opr will push it down. Come Oct we will need to see if there is significant npl . Which is more concerning... Opr cuts should help the npl a little. But based on the examples... The before the 1st opr cut it was 19.5 and the price after the last opr is 16. So if u draw a linear line... U can correlate a decrease in opr equates to a decrease in share price

Fact is he dump 84% of his Sach shares and 3% of JP morgan. and he bought nothing. So, I think ppl should think twice for before investing. wont it be good if Public bank shares can go down to 13RM and then we get better Yield.
