KYY is not God. He cannot be right all the time and he obviously put a lot of personal emotion in Jaks. The share price already hit historical high. Market is efficient and Jaks obviously follows the trend of MFCB when power plant's commerical operations is imminent.

Jaks market cap just exceeds RM 1 billion just now, joining companies with RM 1 billion club..

IBs reports have yet to include power plant. Once they include valuation and profitability of power plant, very likely jaks price will shoot to RM 2 or above as the power plant is expected to achieve commercial operations in march 2020.

Agreed with DK66. Hng33 kind enough to inform us his selling which is good. This also reflects that no stock can go up every day without profit taking. It is normal for people to take profit and after consolidating, price will go higher

When more IBs initiate coverage on jaks power plant, its share price will no longer cheap. I think big funds rush to buy

Today buying looks very strong, likely big funds rush buy as they realised they cannot buy at this price when quarterly report are out. RM 1.53 now, wow

OTB's email to CEO requesting more information and forecast of power plant is working nicely as today share price very steadily upward. Good suggestions by Vin3133, PJ Seow, blessinvestor. They have to provide info for power plant as it is going to be commercial operations in coming quarterly reports. Today share price also reflects market is efficient...

Hope in the quarterly reports they will include progress report on power plant and related info to give more information to investors esp IB, then share price will move faster.

Jaks trending up from last year low of 40 sen to 80 sen and now RM 1.46, when power plant is close to commercial operations. The trend is undeniable unless the power plant fails, which is very unlikely.

Company Profile
• JAKS is involved in construction, property (in both domestic and international markets), integrated water works industry. Currently, its focus is on the 30% owned JV to build a 1200 MW coal fired power plant in Vietnam.

Trading Catalyst
• As of 2Q19, its Vietnam EPC contract has been progressing well and it has hit c.82% project completion (vs. 70% in 1Q19. Hence, we believe remaining works will be done in 2020 and the power plant may start commencement by mid-2020.
• However, its orderbook has declined to RM847m in 2Q19 as compared to RM1.07bn a quarter ago. Meanwhile, its property segment could still disappoint given the delay in Pacific Star Tower with completion of the remaining 3 blocks being pushed to 1H2020.
• Nevertheless, should the Hai Duong Vietnam power plant start its operation by 2H2020, this may boost JAKS earnings in the long run.

No point blaming people who are kind to share. Stocks drop across the board lah, including HK, China, US etc... The only person to blame is Trump. When this volatility happens, cash is king with many cheap sales everywhere. I think US-Iran conflict will last at least few days...

Be greedy when others are fearful. Timing of entry is important... Jaks is one of best stock with great potential and i think will recover faster once dust settled.

i think US will fight back. Stock drop across the board and will likely to drop next few days unless Iran US cease fire. Good time to slowly accumulate.

Is there difference from Sifu OTB post earlier where unit 1 will sell electricity on March 2020, and unit 2 on May 2020? Does it mean Unit 1 will sell power Apr 2020 even without joining national grid or can only sell power on May 15, 2020 after joining national grid.. Anyone can assist to clarify as i am not technical man on this? How about Unit 2?

Only after they formally sell power will attract more big investors who may want more certainty and lower risk.

Dayang has many big funds and big boy like KYY who bought millions of shares, sure will be pushed to sky high and fully valued.

Dayang sky high. It is a matter of time Uzma, the most stable profit making company and AGM msg that they will achieve all time high profit, that UZMA to go up to at least RM 1.20

Next year likely to be power play for Jaks and YTLPower. YTLPower profits also expected to grow again for its Jordan power plant- also near completion mid next year and Indo Power Plant in progess. YTL Power shares have dropped a lot after end of Malaysian IPP contract.

Add more at today low at 1.22, 1.23 1.24 as i am late comer for this stock. Will continue to buy more if drops tomo.
