How capable is a CEO is judged by the share price of his listed company.

By steering from a market cap of over 6B to 1.2B now.. he should be sacked. In any mature stockmarket, he will be removed instantly or resigned to preserve his integrity.

Overall gross profit stood at RM136.1 million, with a reduction of RM99.4 million against Q5FY21.
O&M segment remains as the largest contributor to the Group’s revenue in both Q6FY21 and Q5FY21 with 90.5% in both quarters albeit the decrease in revenue as compared to Q5FY21. The decrease is due to moderate activities in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, which then offsetted by the increase in UAE and Qatar activities. The gross profit margin drops to 11.4% as compared to 17.1% immediate preceding quarter.
EPCC segment in Q6FY21 shows slight improvement compared to Q5FY21 with increase from RM99.3 million in Q5FY21 to RM100.4 million in Q6FY21. This is mainly due to higher EPCC activities in UAE, Turkmenistan, and Indonesia. The gross profit margin yield at 9.1%.

Covid Lockdown and restrictions is a factor causing the huge difference ? Haha

Margin will never drop so much in 3 months in SD nature of business when business volume maintained.

Cash flow never drops so much in 3 months unless no money coming in. Why no cash flow and high receivables, inventories reported ?

Awaiting EY confirming KPMG findings.

Final nail will be audited accounts

Don’t be in the same room when shit hits the fan.

In order not to confuse anyone, Consolidation elimination is a "write off entry" in SD case.

As not much details is show in this QR, most likely they have to reverse out RM121M due to double accounting. Example Parent and Subsidiary both reported revenue on same project. I think most likely is their Middle East project.

Either way, SD will have to write off this amount and net profit reported is as 1.01%

The timeline is not in SD favor. Who will subscribe to rights issue share? They have practically locked themselves out from capital market by creating this big mess in the first place. No more institutional support.

Purely on cash flow analysis, this company already underwater.

The earning should be presume fake by now.

If we willing to accept the last quarter profit as real
which is 0.4 sen per quarter.
FY is about 1.6 sen eps
This give value about 16 sen per share at PE 10.

We cannot use higher PE because this company is still under investigation for fraud accounting. EY report, after so long, still cannot be released.
Why ? Another Red Flag.

So, we need to look at the balance sheet.
We want to know, can serba stay above water ?
For how long ?

Again.. this QR is not audited.

For a clearer picture, have to be read in tandem with previous QR report.

At a glance:

1) GP and NP Margin coming down to a more reasonable level. Previously, we have members here that argue that SD nature of business insulates them from margin fluctuations. It is never possible in real world.

More concerning to me are the following:

1) Cash flow is really really bad. Negative cash flow generated from business reported (200+) million. Last Q still have 9.7M.
2) EPS.. previous QR was 3.04 compared to latest 0.40. I dont have words for this
3) Long overdue receivables. Their note: 30-90 days is a given norm. I see over 120M receivable over 120days. 100% must make provisions or write-off adjustment if audited. If this is included, SD will have to report big loss this QR.

Overall, not good. Precarious i would put it.

Every thing you see now announced by SD.. take it with a pinch of salt.

Never believe unaudited stuff..
