the mistake for top glove is it do the share buy back too early at around rm 5..and help to take a lot of stock from the lousy/uncommitted investor like epf..
it should do it at rm 1..and take all epf stake at rm 1..

second mistake is, the US ban.. which took too long to lifted... and the gov also didnt help, they side with the bangla's and what those "activist" says.. regardless it is poorly handled..

now share price too low, should not issue too many share in hong kong at low price.. it is not good for the capital management.. should issue it last year or in the next pandamic...

During the height of the pandemic , the issue of force labor never arise..
the US wants more glove and their companies thanked top glove and other msia glove company especially the hard working bangla for being the "hero" working overtime in the pandemic fight..and ensuring the US and other countries have sufficient supply...
They work overtime to meet US & other countries demand.
Now the US have enough stock and vaccine , they now say these are forced labor ... ?! :)
Even bangladesh did not say their citizen being force to work...in fact they know in bangladesh there is too many ppl and not enough jobs , that is why they allow them to come to msia and other countries to work....
Many country due to pandemic , the unemployment rate is sky high / double digits...
The bangladesh workers are the real hero and have an opportunity to work and fight the pandemic..

The real demand for glove will be from those country which doesnt have as much vaccine supply or is slower than US..

This will include large part of asia , india , philiphine, indo, the whole africa continent , large part of europe.. south.america brazil, etc..where covid cases still rising..
There are other mkt which can absorb the supply and need a lot of gloves for at least the next 2 years...
