The shake-out this morning provide the opportunities for the operators to buy cheap!!!
LATEST NEWS:
Alibaba, Malaysia’s Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Hangzhou Municipal Government have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to connect e-hubs under the Electronic World Trade Platform (eWTP).
This follow's the launch of Alipay in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia.
The MOU will have the three parties seek to build infrastructure for seamless cross-border e-commerce trade between Malaysia and China, as well as explore potential strategic collaborations.
All parties will facilitate cooperation between public and private enterprises in Hangzhou and Malaysia to provide easier access to customs clearance, inspection and permit issuance for SMEs to do cross-border trade.
“Fostering closer partnership with China is imperative to sustaining our economic growth, and e-business and commerce is clearly the future of global trade. It is therefore exciting to witness the forming of a partnership between government and reputable private enterprises, who will work together to lay the foundation for a more efficient conduct of cross-border trade in the internet age, to the benefit of all,” said Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, prime minister of Malaysia.
“E-commerce is becoming increasingly globalized and it is transforming the way commerce is conducted. With the creation of eWTP, we and partners will build the infrastructure to empower SMEs and young entrepreneurs to succeed in this era of data technology. Today's announcement has opened up a gateway to global success for small businesses in the two countries. It is our hope that more and more countries and SMEs around the world will benefit from a more level playing field,” said Jack Ma, executive chairman, Alibaba Group.

Major shareholders are NOT "normal investors". They are "experts" in the field of business of GHL (see the excepts of the report below) and will be able to bring their expertise and resources to help GHL to grow leaps and bounds. The failure of the MGO provides the opportunity for other investors like us to benefit from this company's success.
EXCEPTS OF THE REPORT:
Actis has extensive experience in growth markets payments, having invested in and helped build out leading payments platforms that have spanned more than 50 countries.
Commenting on the investment, Hossam Abou Moussa, Partner at Actis, said: "Investing in market leading businesses in the sectors we understand is a core pillar of our growth markets investment strategy. We are extremely excited by the opportunity to partner with Simon and the management team and bring what we have learned in other markets to help GHL to scale and cement its position as a regional leader."
Simon Loh, Excutive Vice Chairman of GHL, added: "I am very excited to welcome Actis as a partner. They bring an impressive track record in the payments sector, especially in emerging markets. Together, we are fully aligned in our ambition to become the leading end-to-end payment service provider in ASEAN by deploying world-class payment infrastructure, technology and to further expand our growing footprint into new ASEAN markets."
Ali Mazanderani, Actis's Fintech lead added: "Investing in South East Asia and in GHL is a continuation of Actis' strategy to be integral to and support the buildout of landmark payments platforms across our markets. It follows on from our investments in Emerging Market Payments in Africa and the Middle East, PayCorp in Africa and DLP Payments in Latin America."

Some people already made some money and run.
Many (those trapped) are waiting to sell at higher price...so as the price goes up, there will be more sellers...
So are they (trapped ones) helping the price to go up if they sell early?

CIMB Third smallcap conference in Singapore
Dagang NeXchange (DNEX)
We see attractive growth prospect for DNEX in both its existing IT
business and the new venture in its energy division.
Has developed new services
During the conference, management indicated that DNEX has completed the
diversification strategy in its energy division after completing the acquisition of OGPC and investment in Ping Petroleum. Management highlighted its strategy to address the potential revenue decline from the expiry of its exclusive National Single Window (NSW) trade facilitation in Sep 2018. For example, DNEX has developed several new service and product offerings through partnerships with financial institutions to provide freight cargo insurance and trade finance
facilities to its customers. Management is confident of maintaining about 60-70% of DNEX's existing NSW revenue contribution post the expiry of its
exclusive trade facilitation.
To duplicate VEP services
In addition, management is also exploring the potential of duplicating its vehicle entry permit (VEP) and road charges (RC) programme at the borders of Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia. We are excited to learn that DNEX has been appointed a technical partner for a local Thai company that is exploring the potential to replicate a programme similar to its VEP and RC programme across the Thai borders.
Oil & gas to play a bigger role
Moreover, management is also expecting a stronger contribution from its oil and gas division in FY17, driven by full-year contribution of OGPC (vs. five months in FY16) and full-year contribution from its associate company Ping Petroleum (vs. nine months in FY16). Based on Bloomberg consensus, the stock now trades at 14x CY17F P/E, a 35% discount to the IT sector's P/E mean of 22x, but 10% premium to oil and gas service providers' mean of 13x.

Ultrainvestor's point on dividends is valid too. However it may not be relevant/significant in the current euphoric sentiment in DNEX. Many people are merely looking at very short term.

Risk management is an important key success factor in Share investment
What's the rationale of buying DNEX's warrant?
Worth the risk?
I think the risk is much higher than the benefits:
1) Exercise price is 0.50 (mother share now only 0.47)
2) Premium is so high >69% (0.50 + 0.295) = (0.795 - 0.47)/0.47)
3) Gearing is low = 1.59 only
The warrant price is very volatile and will drop drastically when there is a pullback.
