GDP is economic growth number which include net exports. This GDP is for 2Q (Mar-Jun 2020). Everyone knows that 2Q is the the extraordinary quarter for gloves and mask related stocks.

Consensus estimating Malaysia's economy to contract by -10.7% and we all know that the contraction is not driven by healthcare sector. Without the boost from healthcare exports, the economic contraction can be even worst.

This GDP number will only be the estimation on how bad the other sectors (such as bank, consumer product etc) were impacted from this COVID-induce cycle.

Relax...i'm not saying dont buy/sell Supermax :P

If anyone understand GDP, you will know that GDP has nothing to do with healthcare stocks for this quarter.

I can tell you GDP number for 2Q 2020 for sure is negative.
