How do you know the top 27 list ? Doesn't matter what the top 27 control, any 20 pct can kill this deal. Any. Deal only approved if share price is above 50 and remains there. I woudl expect it need to be 55 or so to be comfortable. Promoters have a block worth Myr 200 mil at that price, ie shares and warrants. Up to them to use this block to ensure a successful QA.

I have spoken to leading audit company and they can liquidate a SPAC And pay back the trust money in 5 days. I have this in writing as a formal proposal. This issue of shareholders being stuck post 3 years in liquidation is complete nonsense, and a malicious rumor spread by some people to 'force' shareholders to either sell or accept the QA. other spacs ar limited to the ability of their management and may not be so competent. Also I don't know how active their shareholders are. Right now, if shares below 48.5 say bye bye to QA and Hadian and team would have wasted their 3 years. All rest get their money plus interest, in 5 days.

With the higher forward oil prices and also a stronger Myr, we are now getting a higher NAV calculation. Let us see if it lasts. One strategic shareholder question is that for a small sum, since the warrants only 10 cts, a predator can buy a meaningful stake in the company via the warrants. You not only get a great oil and gas asset but you also get a listed shell. The promoters need to think about this carefully.hopefully this week and next week good news that the stock is higher so that a successful QA. God bless. Insha Allah.

Has anyone gone to the company secretary office and looked at the fair value opinion by the consultant to check what assumptions they using and to then calculate a NAV ? Writing simple anecdotes are fun and interesting but useless from an investment perspective. I calculate agak agak 80 cts NAV, maybe more. Anyone have any thoughts ? Or just talk cock ?

At 45 cents, deal will be rejected. Plain and simple.

If share price don't go up before the egm, then no one will vote QA and deal will fail, and promoters won't make their Myr 200 mil. Very simple. Don't think too far beyond egm. Any 20 pct can vote no. Any. Insha Allah stock will go up.

As per own calculation, the fully diluted value of this company, with some assumptions on oil production and also oil price, is about 80 cts per share. I am looking forward to the circular and particularly the revised consultants report to see why they changed to fair value. Obviously some of their assumptions are critical and sensitive. As for funds buying, they will need to write up their paper internally and also submit to the management committees for approval, this takes time. If indeed EGM is end March, there is not sufficient time. Also since any 20 pct can decline and the deal is dead, the promoters must be quite thoughtful how they will manage expectations. At stake for the promoters is Myr 200 million, ie their mkt value of shares and warrants at say 55 cts. Myr 200 million is a lot of firepower to do many things.

The game has started. First play the warrants to get market attention and interest. Then focus on the mother to ensure a successful QA. Volume shoudl remain high for this thesis to be valid. News flow also should be coming. Mother at 51 say means warrant at 16 cts as a minimum. Maybe a few cents more for speculative premium.

In all honesty, no one really knows what pacific alliance and credit suisse are really doing. Note that they also own substantial shares in another SPAC that just announced they will fail. So credit suisse buying is not an indication of a successful QA. They could just be buying for yield. As for FX, they could very well be asset swapping into USD to eliminate currency risk. Buy at 46 now redeem in August 2016 plus 9 months liquidation is a very good yield to maturity in USD. Insha Allah for successful QA as I want Pak Hadi and Kak Maz to be rich.

If SONA fail and instead redeem, you know how many months after last date do I get my 48.5 cts back ? Anyone speak to a lawyer or liquidator ? My broker tell me 6-9 months since need clearance for inland revenue. I dunno since I am small investor and not expert. Any ideas ?

Pls be up to date. Read the disclosures. Sona already has full and complete sc approval where the 80 pct spending is completely addressed. Re the warrants, it has 2 years to go after QA so no need for management to exercise now and incur cost to finance the exercise price. They can just wait. Also they subject to moratorium anyway. Warrant won't move. In fact it may go up but remain at a discount to mother as did hibiscus. The play will be in the mother as any 20 pct can decline. Management have approx myr 210 million in shares and warrants at 55 cts. With this 'collateral' they have to convince market participants that the QA is worth voting for.

Most funds will require many weeks some even months for approvals to invest in any asset, more so one with no cashflows and no operating history. They will have to study all the valuation reports and independent consultant reports etc etc which is voluminous. I doubt any of the major funds will be able to turn this around in 3-4 weeks, which is the suggested time frame between agreeing a revised price with the vendor and proposed egm date. Let us not talk about the future. We cross the egm first. Still not clear how the promoters will ensure a successful egm when there are many sellers out there and also stale bulls holding from 60 cts plus. Insha Allah the promoters will be successful and get rich. Any opinion is welcome.
