MQ Research expects 1QFY18 earnings to come in below consensus – they have forecast an FY19 net loss of -RM266mn vs consensus estimate of -RM83mn. Recognition for these contracts will only accelerate in Q2FY19 onwards. MQ Research’s bear and bull case valuations are RM0.24 and RM1.93 respectively. An exploration and production (E&P) initial public offering (IPO) remains the key catalyst going forward.

Hibiscus is a fundamentally changed company. Definitely will make good profit. This is not a company that just won some contract or project. It has a new positive fundamental. Petronas partner. It will be a new major oil and gas outfit. By 2018 valuation could be as high as rm 1.50 and above.
