The depreciation of RM impact:- 1) MAHB: Positive impact from the higher translated earnings contribution of wholly owned ISGA in EU€. 2) AirAsia: Negative impact from higher translated cost structure (jet fuel, maintenance and debts) denominated in US$ (+18% YTD). However, the negative impact only partially offset the benefits from the slump in jet fuel costs (-35% YTD).

Main Street Says Cash Out On Cworks, Buy AirAsia and more.
Our Reporter few seconds ago
Kuala Lumpur : The main street has spoken, and spoken loudly. Main Street, is where the research analyst site and they are saying that technology stocks are in for a good side.
This is despite some of the country's top technology fund managers putting it on record that Technology stocks are getting pricey and that they have stopped buying them.
Something more platable is the number of but calls AirAsia is getting, with an expected 60 odd per cent gain, that valued the stock at RM2 and beyond.
Analyst say that this year the number of tourist coming to Malaysia will swell by ten per cent to 30 million visitors.
If indeed AirAsia is going to perform well, then in MyBursa's view the less risky trade will be to place some bets on the X ---AirasiaX, which at absolute value is around 18 sen a share.
On the technical side, it seems that the Cworks bull has passed away, with chartist from Hong Leong expecting the stock to start walking backwards.

AirAsia sets up US$1b funding plan to shore up finances
The Malay Mail few seconds ago
SINGAPORE, Jan 6 ― Asia's largest budget airline, AirAsia Bhd, has set up a US$1-billion (RM4.38 billion) financing plan through a multicurrency medium-term note programme, months after it faced calls to shore up its financing in tough operating conditions.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, AirAsia said the funds would be used for purposes ranging from working capital to debt refinancing and financing the equity portion of its aircraft.
IFR reported the news in November.
The funding move comes after AirAsia said in November that major shareholders were evaluating “all strategic options” following a Reuters report that the airline's chief executive was seeking investors to take it private.
Barclays is the sole arranger for the funding program, for which it is also the joint dealer with CIMB and RHB Investment Bank.
AirAsia has mandated the banks to arrange meetings with investors in Singapore, Hong Kong and London starting from. ― Reuters
