Terengganu state-owned plantation arm TDM Bhd, has appointed Zainal Abidin Shariff as the new group CEO with effect from April 1.
TDM chairman Raja Datuk Idris Raja Kamarudin congratulated Zainal Abidin on his appointment.
He said TDM has a responsibility to its shareholders to create and deliver value and it would be rolling out its value creation and business development plans.
“His experience in the plantation industry and his expertise in change management are crucial skillsets to drive TDM’s value creation and business development plans and to deliver our aggressive targets that have been set by the board,” he said.

Zainal Abidin obtained his Master of Finance from RMIT University, Melbourne in 2006.
